Meeting of January 17, 1947
The Southold Town Board met at the Office of Supersivor S. Went-
worth Horton at Greenport on Friday, January 17, 1947. The meet- 1�
ing was called to' order at 1:30. P.M. with the following Present:
Supervisor H rton; Justices Terry, Hawkins , Klipp and Tuthill;
Town Superintendent of H.,ghways Price, town Attorney Terry and
Town Clerk Booth.
The Minttes of .the previous meeting iaere read and duly approved
as read.
Movediby Justice Hawkins, seconded by Justice Terry:
Resolved; that William P.. Moffat of Southold be and is hereby' ap- : -
,.pointed Special Constable to direct traffic at the Southold
'S,chool' Crossing at Oaklawn Ave. and Main Rd. at a salary of $4.00
per day, effective . as of January 13, 1947. ,
Unanimously adopted.
Moved by Justice Terry; seconded by Justice Tuthill: {-p
Resolved: That Anton Chituk, Town Constable, be granted an ex-
tension of leave of absence from January 15, 1947 to Feb. 7, 1947. r'"=
Be It Further Resolved: That the Town Clerk be instructed to com-
municate with Mr. Chituk and ask him to state definitely before
February 7, 1947, when he intends to resume his duties as Town
Constable. 7„
