The meeting was aalled to order at 1:30 P.M. with the fol- lowing present : Supervsor ,S. Wentworth H.,rton; Justices, Terry, Hawkins , Klipp and Tuthill; Town SuBerintendent of • Highways Price; Town Attorney Terry and Town Glerk, Booth. The minutes of the previous. meeting were read and duly ap- proved as read. A communication was read from the Secretary of the Southold ' Fire Department requesting permission to hold a tournament -y .of the North Fork Volunteer Fireman's Association in Southold on. July 5th, 1947 and to close normal traffic r and use for tournament purposes a portion of Town Harbor Lane. Moved by Justice Hawkins , seconded by Justice Klipp : Resolved : That the request be granted the Southold Fire Department to hold a tournament of the North Fork Volun- teer Firemans Association in the Village of Southold on July 5, 1947, and to close to normal traffic and use for tournament purposes a portion of Town Harbor Lane for the afternoon of said date for as long as is necessary to com- plete the scheduled evemts of said tournament, and to erect a temporary arch over said lane , and to erect nee essary grandstand seats and snow fence on the sides of said lane for protection of spectators. ti Unanimously adopted. Moved by Justice Hawkins, seconded by Justice Terry: _ Resolved : that the Town Clerk be inttruc:ted to request the Long Island Lighting Go. to install four 600 C.p. ornamental lights in the -Southold Lighting District on poles. No. 367 , 369, 371 and 373 in place of the existing lights. Unanimously adopted. - Moved by Justice Terry, -seconded by Justice - Hawkins : Resolved : That the bond , of �'�'elfare Officer, Archie W.
