HomeMy WebLinkAboutTB-05/27/1952 4 31" MEETING OF MAY 27, 1952 The Southold Town Board met at the office of Supervisor Norman ' E. Klipp at Greenport, on Tuesday, May 27, 1952. The meeting was called to order at 1:30 P.M. with the followong present: Supervisor Klipp; Justices Terry., Tuthill, Albertson and Clark; Town Superintendent of Highways Trice; Town Attorney Terry and � Town Clerk Booth. Moved by Justice Terry; seconded by Justice Tuthill: ~` RESOLVED: That the minUtes-rof the previous meeting be and hereby . , r are duly approved as read. Vote of Town Board: Ayes- Supervisor Klipp; Justices Terry, Tuthill Albertson and Clark. ' Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Terry: RESOLVED: That the regular monthly audit meeting of this Board be held at the office of the Supervisor at Greenport, on Tues- day-, June 10, 1952, at '1:30 o'clock P.M. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-' Sypervisor Klipp; Justices Terry, Tuthill, Albertson and Clark. 1 Moved By Justice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Terry: RESOLVED: .That Norman E. Klipp, Supervisor, be and hereby is authorized to contract for the landscaping of the new Town' ~' Hall property located on the northerly side of the Main Road at Southold, amount expended not to exceed Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00)1. Vote of Town .Board: Ayes- Supervisor Klipp; 'Justices Terry, >\" Tuthill, Albertson and Clark. Moved .by Justice Albertson; seconded by Justice Terry: RESOLVED: That Norman E. Klipp, Supervisor, be and hereby is authorized to contract for overhead insulation of the Town Building, located on the northerly side of the Main Road at Southold. The estimated sum for the insulation is Three Hundred and Seventy-five Dollars ($375.00) . Vote of Town Board: Ayes- Supervisor Klipp; Justices Terry, - , < AlbO ton and Clark. Joseph Zimnoski appeared before the Board stating that a high- -" way at Oregon which runs through his property was out of line, and requested the Town Board to have it straightened. After a lengthy discussion he was informed by the Board that they could A do nothing about the matter as the road was built according to the survey, and if he was dissatisfied to employ a Surveyer.:yarid ' if -it was found by the survey that the road was incorrect accord- ing to the description in the Town Highway Records the Board j would take the matter up and have the road straightened.
