Meeting. -of April 22.,. .1952
The Southold Town Board met at the office of Supervisor Norman
E. Klipp at Greenport, on Tuesday, April 22, 1952. The meeting
was called to order at 1:30 P.M. with the following present.-
Supervisor Klipp; Justices Terry, Tuthill, Albertson and Clark;
� Town Attorney Terry and Town Clerk Booth.
Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Albertson:
-r RESOLVED: That .the regular monthly audit meeting of this Board
be held at the office of the Supervisor at Greennort, on Tuesday,
May 6, 1952, at 1:30 P.M.

Albertson and Clark.

- " Mr. Conrad and Mr. fflbthleder appeared before the Board represent-
ing the Nassau Farms Association relative to the -dredging at the
mouth of Little Creek, Cutchogue.
Moved by Justice Albertson; seconded by Justice Clark:
RESOLVED: That Supervisor Norman E. Klipp be authorized to make
..�. arrangements to have the mouth of Little Creek at Cutchogue
dredged, the amount for dredging not to exceed the sum of three
hundred dollars (

Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Albertson:
BE IT RESOLVED: That .this Board does hereby find and determine
that the proposal of George H. Smith and Sons to repair, remodel
and improve the Town Building located on the northerly side of
the Main Road at Southold, in accordance with the plans and
specifications therefore is the lowest responsible proposal
for said work and be it further
RESOLVED: That the'/ said proposal of said George H. Smith and Sons
in the sum of $7,495.00, plus contractors performance bond,
$74.95 be and the! same is hereby accepted, and be it further
RESOLVED: That Supervisor Norman E. Klipp be authorized to
enter into a contract with the said George H. Smith and Sons
J r for the repairing, remodelling and improving said building, in
accordance with the aforesaid plans and specifications.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Terry, Tuthill,

RESOLVED: That Supervisor Norman E. Klipp be and hereby is
.. r authorized to purchase necessary furniture for the Town Clerk's
new office and reception room.
Vote of Town Board; Ayes.-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Terry, Tuthill,
Albertson and Clark.
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Albertson:
-�. RESOLVED: That Supervisor Norman E. Klipp be authorized to con-
sult local residents in the vicinity -of Marion Lake, at East
- Marion, relative to clearing said lake of algae growth.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Terry,
Tuthill, Albertson and Clark.
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Terry:
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Town Board of the Town of
Southold to establish a Recreation Project and
WHEREAS, the Town of Southold is -about to submit an application
for such a project to the New York State -`oath Commission for. .
its approval, and if approved, to apply subsequently to the
State of New York for partial reimbursement of funds expended'
on said project, as provided by chapter 556 of the Laws of 1955,
r as amended:
NOW rTHEREFORE )BE IT RESOLVED: That such application is in all
respects approved and Norman E. Klipp, Supervisor, is hereby
I directed and authorized to duly execute and to present said
application to the New York State Youth Commission-for its approval.
This resolution shall take effect immediately.
