MEETING OF MARCH 25, 1952 <-
The Southold Town Board met at, the office \of Supervisor Norman
E.-'Klipp at Greenport, On• Tuesday, March 25, 1952. The meeting .
was called to order at 1:30 P. M. with the following present:
Supervisor Klipp; Justices Terry, Tuthill, Albertson and Clark;
Town Syiperintendent of Highways Price; Town-Attorney Terry and .,
Town clerk Booth.
The minutes of the -previous meeting were read and were duly _r
approved as read.
Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Albertson: ..�
RESOLVED: That the regular monthly audit meeting 'of this Board
be held at the office of. the Supervisor at Greenport, on Tuesday,
April 8, 1952, at 1:30 P.M.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes- 8upervisor Klipp; Justices Terry, Tuthill,
Albertson and Clark. r'
Moved -by Justice Clark; seconded -by Justice Albertson:
RESOLVED: That the Supervisor be authorized to advertise for 'T
sealed proposals for furnishing all materials (and doing and com-
pletion on or before July 11 � 9521- all work necessary for the per-
formance according to specifications of a contract to be let -by
the Town of Southold. for repairing, remodelling and improving the
Town Building located on the northerly side of the Main Raod in
Southold.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes- Supervisor Klipp; Justices Terry, Tuthill,
Albertson and Clark.
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by ,Justice Terry:
RESOLVED: That a special meeting of the Southold Town Board will
be held at the office -of Supervisor Normari E. Klipp. at Greenport,
on Tuesday, April 15, 1952, at 7 o'clock P'.M. for the purpose of ;
receiving• sealed proposals for repairing, -remodeling and improving
the Town Building located at Southold.
Vote of Town Board:, Ayes- Supervisor Klipp; Justices •Terry, Tuthill,
Albertson and Clark.

RESOLVED: That the necessary expenses of Town Officials incurred
while attending the meeting of the Town Board to be held at Fishers
Illand on Friday, April 4, 1952, be- 'and hereby area legal charge
against the Town.
Vote of Town Board:: Ayes- Supervisor Klipp; Justices Terry, Tuthill,
Albertson and Clark.

RESOLVED: -That the Supervisor:--be authorized to- insert a full page �
advertisement advertising the Town of. Southold in The- program of
the Southern New York volunteer Fireman's Convention which will ~�
be held in Greenport on June 26, 279 and 28, 1952.

RESOLVED: That the Supervisor be authorized to enter into a lease
With the Commissioners of the Southold Park District for a tract
of land to be used as a park for the residents of the Southold
Park District, for a term of fifty ( 50) years at an annual rental r
of One Dollar .($1.00) said land is situated at the head of Town r
Creek and is -known as Town Creek Park. _

RESOLVED: that the Supervisor be authorized to. take the necessary steps to purchase uniforms for the Police Department.
