The TOWN OF SOUTHOLD, in the County of Suffolk, a 'municipality of the State of New York, hereby acknowledges itself indebted �- and for value received promises, to pay to the First rational Bank of Greenport the sum of Ten Thousand (810,000. ) . Dollars , on the 28th day of lFebruary, 19537 together with interest r thereon from the 'dat.e hereb.f. at the rate of 1.9% per annum, ,payable annually. BE IT RESOLVED, this 28th day of February, 1952, by the Town Board of the Town of Southold, New York,` as follows: . 1 Section 1. That, WHEREAS, an insufficient appropriation was made- for home relief in the current annual budget of the Town of Southold, pursuant to provisions of the Social Welfare Law of the gtate' of New York, a supplemental appropriation of $10,000.00 for home relief is hereby made, and pursuant to the Local FAnance Law of the State of New York, for the purpose of financing such ', '' supplemental appropriation, the TOWN OF SOUTHOLD shall issue and sell a budget note in the amount of $10,000.00 to mature on February 28, 1953. " Section 2. That, except as herein specifically prescribed, � * said note shall be of the date, terms, . form, contents and place of payment and at a rate of interest not exceeding TWO (2%) per ` centum: per annum, as may be determined by .. the, ,Town :Supervisor, consistent, however, with the provisionslof..the said:'.Local. Klipp as a member of the Suffolk County, Board of Supervisors in opposing enactment of a bill introduced `in the State Legislature (Assembly:-Print No. 1828, Int. No. 1778; Senate �rint No. 1395, Int. ,No. 1345)entitled, An Act to Amend the Conservation Law, In relation to the use of haul seines in the waters of the marine district inthe County of Suffolk, prior to a conservation department investigation of �- the present condition with respect .to sport and', commercial fishing in this area.
