Went- worth Horton, at Greenport, on Wednesdey, April 25, 1945. The � - meeting was called to order at 1:30 P.M. with the following pre- sent : Supervisor Horton; Justices Terry; Hawkins and Case; Town Superintendent of Highways Price; Town Attorgey Terry and Town Clerk Booth. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and dully approved I � as read. �r Moved by Justice Case ; seconded by Justice Terry : Resolved: That the Town Clerk be instructed to request the Long Island Lighting Co. to install one (1) additional light in the Cutchogue Lighting District , said light to be on Pole No. 3 on r, Stillwater Avenue , Fleets Neck, Cutchogue. unanimously adopted Moved by Justice Terry; seconded by Justice Case : Resolved : That the regular monthly audit meeting of the Town Board , be held on Wednesday May 2, 1945 at 1 :30 :P.M. z' unanimously adopted Y This meeting was later posponed until Monday May 7 , 1945 at r" 1 :30 P.M. Adjournment. was at 3 :00 P'.Mi, Ralph P. Booth Town Clerk _., Meeting of May 7 , 1945 I - The Southold Town Board met at the- office of Supervisor S. Wentworth Horton, at Greenport on Monday May T, 1945. The meet- ing was called to order at 1:30 P.M. with the following present : Supervisor Horton; Justices Terry, Hawkins and Klipp ; Town Sup- erint.e.ndent of Highways Price; Town Attorney Terry and Town Clerk Booth. The Board sat at once as a committee on audit to examine claims_ ' against the Town, concluding the audit at 2 P.M. �.• The minutes of the previous meeting were read and duly approved as read. l Moved by Justice Hawkins; seconded by Justice Terry : Resolved :. That General bills in the amount of $4,683.82, Reim- bursable Welfare Bills in the amount of $14.70, non-reimbursable Welfare Bills in the amount of $23.25 be and the same is hereby ordered piid. Unanimously adopted. ' Moved by Justice Klipp ; seconded by Justice Hawkins : Resolved : That a proposition be presented to the voters at the November Election whether or not to appropiate funds for the purchase of a Southold Town owned incinerator plant. Unanimously adopted. " Moved by Justice Terry, seconded by Justice Hawkins : Resolved : That the regular monthly meeting of the Town Board be -. held on Friday, May 18, 1945, at 1:30 PIM. Unanimously adopted. The Board then recessed to view several roads that have been requested to be taken over by the Town. Property of G. Fred Grath- ' wohl. at New Suffolk, C.H. Wickham and George I. Tuthill & Ors. at ' - Laurel. The Board also inspected several roads throughout the Town on general Town Matters , these roads included Naugles Dr. at Mattituck, i ' Duck Pond Rd. at Cutchogue , Mill Road at Peconi.c , Kenneys Rd. and -- Hortons Lane at Southold Adjournment was at 4:45 P.M.
