ax The Southold Town Board met at the office of Supervisor S. Went-
worth Horton, at Greenport, on Wednesday, January 3, 1945. The
meeting was called to order at 1:45 P.M. with the following present :
m Supervisor Horton; Justices Terry, Hawkins and Case. Town Super-
intendent of Highways, Price; Town Attorney Terry and Town Clerk
Booth.
The Board sat at once as a committee on audit to examine claims
against the Town, concluding the audit at 2:1.5 P.M.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and duly approved as
read.
Moved by Justice Case; seconded by Justice Terry:
Resolved: That the Town Board rescind:'.the appointment of August
� Armbrust as dog enumerator at his request.
Unaminously adopted.
Moved by Justice Hawkins; seconded by Justice Case;
r , Resolved: That General Bills .in the amount of $2,212.07, Reimbursable
Welfare Bills in the amount of $5.75, Non-reimbursable Welfare Bills
w~ in the amount of $26.58 be and the same is hereby ordered paid.
Unaminously adopted.
Moved by Justice Terry; seconded by Justice Case:
Resolved : That the certificate of indebtedness of the Mattituck
Park District be and the 'same is hereby ordered paid from the tax
monies due the Matti tuck Park District.
Unaminously adopted.
-� Moved by Justice Hawkins ; seconded by Justice Case :
_ Resolved: That Supervisor S. Wentworth Horton be designated to
represent Southold Town and Justice Harry Terry be designated as
alternate to attend the annual meeting of the Association 'of Town
to be held at Albany, N.Y. on February 15th and 16th, 1945, and
to cast the vote of the aforesaid Town, pursuant to Sec. 6 of
1 Article Ill of the Constitution and By-Laws of Association of Towns
of the State of New York.

Resolved: That the Registrar of Vital Statistics be and is hereby
put on a salary basis of an annual salary of $500.00 per year:

Resolved : That. Donald Robinson be and he is hereby appointed dog
enumbrator for the year 1945.

'f Resolved : That the next monthly .Town 'Board meeting be held .on
Friday, Jan. 26th, 1945, at 1 :30 P.M.
