SPECIAL MEETING
NOVEMBER 16, 1990
The Planning Board held a special meeting at 3:30 P.M. on
November 16, 1990.
PRESENT:
Bennett Orlowski, Jr. , 'Chairman

Mr. Orlowski: Good afternoon, I would like to call this meeting
to order. First order of business, at 3 : 30 P.M.
Mr. Orlowski: MAJOR AND MINOR SUBDIVISIONS, LOT LINE CHANGES AND
SET OFF APPLICATIONS:
Setting of Final Hearings:
Charles Simmons - This proposal is to set off a 4. 41 acre
parcel from an existing 36. 33 acre parcel located on the north
side of Sound Avenue; 1700 feet west of Bergen Avenue in
Mattituck. SCTM#1000-112-1-P/0 8.
Mr. McDonald: Mr. Chairman, I would like to make the following
motion.
Be it RESOLVED, that the Southold Town Planning Board set
Monday, December 3 , 1990 at 7:40 P.M. for a final public hearing
on the maps dated September 24, 1990.
Mr. Latham: Second.

Ayes: Mr. McDonald, Mr. Latham, Mr. Ward, Mr. Orlowski.

SET OFF APPLICATIONS - STATE ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY REVIEW ACT
Draft Environmental Impact Status:
Macari at Laurel - Board to review the DEIS received on
September 27, 1990, for completeness. SCTM#1000-121-4-9.
Mr. Ward: Mr. Chairman, I would like to offer the following
motion.
Be it RESOLVED to deem the Draft Environmental Impact State
(DEIS) dated September 1990, and received by the Planning Board
on September 27, 1990, incomplete in regard to scope, content
and adequacy as per the November 8, 1990, report from. Cramer,
Voorhis and Associates.
I 'd like to note also that the thirty ( 30) day public comment
period to consider the accuracy and validity of the document
will not be started until the Planning Board has deemed the DEIS
complete.
Mr. Latham: Second.
Mr. Orlowski: Motion made and seconded. Any questions on the
motion? All those in favor?
Ayes: Mr. Latham, Mr. Ward, Mr. Orlowski.
Mr. McDonald abstained.
Mr. Orlowski: Opposed? So. ordered.
