HomeMy WebLinkAboutTR-10/01/1980 418 A regular meeting- of the Board of Southold Town Trustees was held at 7: 30 p.m. , Wednesday, October 1, 1980 at the Town Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York,. Present were: President .Anna Hataier Trustee Frank Kujawski, Jr. (7:40 p.m. ) Trustee Henry Smith Trustee Halsey Staples., Trustee Paul Stoutenburgh Roberta Sinott, League of Women, Voters President' Hataier made a motion, seconded by Trustee Staples and carried to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of September 3, 1980 and set the date for the next meeting for November 6, 1980. On motion made by President Hataier, seconded-by-, Trustee Smith, it was RESOLVED to approve the application of Rita F. Gledich to erect ",/ catwalk,,, ramp and two floats off-:private ,proper.ty of the applicant at East Creek. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Hataier, Smith, Staples, Stoutenburgh On motion made by Trustee Stoutenburgh, seconded by`Trustee Staples, it was V RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town-Board approval of the wetland application of Rita F. Gledich to erect catwalk, ramp b� \ and floats off private property, of the applicant at East Creek. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Hataier, Smith, Staples, Stoutenburgh On motion made .by Trustee Staples, seconded by Trustee Smith, it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board approval -of k4 the wetland application of Henry Pierce to install walkway, ramp a\ and floats off private property of the applicant at Richmond Creek. Vote of the Board: Ayes:- Hataier, Smith, "Staples, Stoutenburgh On motion made by President Hataier, seconded by Trustee Staples, It was 419 RESOLVED to approve the application of Howard A. Stabile , to place 100 lb. mushroom mooring at Gull Pond with access from ,r public property with the condition. that it does not interfere with navigation or existing moorings. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Hataier, Kujawski, Smith, Staples, Stoutenburgh It will be requested that Bay Constable Czelatka contact John Geideman and together they make a check of the area regarding existing permits where there-' are no-moorings or moorings. without numbers. The applications of Alfred W. Basc:omb, Julius Juttner and Galligan for -quitclaim.-deeds were discussed with attorneys William Wickham and Richard Lark in attendance. Trustee Stoutenburgh made a motion, seconded by Trustee Smith and carried-' to table action regarding the quitclaim deed requests 'of Bascomb, Juttner and Galligan until the three parties get together and agree where the property line divisions should be. The Town Attorney is to be asked if the Town Trustees can place a condition on these properties that application can not be made for subdivision. Jarvis Verity, . President; of the Baymen' s Association, has expressed his concern regarding soft clamming in the area of the Anchorage. On motion made by President Hataier, seconded by Trustee Staples, it was RESOLVED.,to--recommend-,to:;the- Southold Town ,Board approval of the wetland application of..Jose-oh and Janet Gold to' construct a timber dock, fixed catwalk, hinged ramp and float at private property of the applicant at Haywaters Cove subject to the following: 1. The c:atwalk .start at road surface rather than two feet high. d k 2. Width of catwalk be three feet rather than four feet. 3. The dock be kept in line with present dock. . Vote of the Board: Ayes:. Hataier, Kujawski, Smith, Staples, Stoutenburgh 420 On motion made by President Hataier, seconded by Trustee Smith,. .it was RESOLVED to approve the application, of..Joseph and Janet Gold to construct a timber dock, -fixed catwalk, hinged ramp -and float at private property of the applicant at Haywaters Cove subject to the. following: 1. The catwalk start at road surface rather than two feet high.. . 2. Width of catwalk be( three feet rather than four feet. 3.• The dock be kept in line with present dock. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Hataier, Kujawski, Smith, Staples, Stoutenburgh. President Hataier made. amotion,- seconded by .Trustee Smith and carried to renew the following moorings for the-' month of November: Ann' G. Baydala George M. Bridge Peter J. Carroll Raymond E. Clempner Dr. Samuel S. Cohen Ralph C. Condit Roger C. Cornell Henry Francis, Jr. Robert W. Gillespie David Grigonis Paul , Kalunas John Kowalski, - Jr. . Henry Ruthinoski John Sw•iskey David Verity Conrad Volinski, Sr. Adam Zaveski At the request of the chairman of the Planning Board for a member to be designated .for a committee regarding possible acquisition by the Town bf .wetlands, Mrs. Hataier appointed Frank Kujawski. There being no' further business to come before the Board,,- Trustee Smith made a motion, seconded by President Hataier and carried to adjourrn- the meeting.
