Were: John Holzapfel, Vice-President Peter Wenczel, Member James King, Member Jill Doherty, Clerk Albert Krupski, Jr. , President (came in at #5) 1. Election of officers: President: A motion was made by TRUSTEE HOLZAPFEL and. seconded TRUSTEE WENCZEL' to elect Trustee Al Krupski., JR. as President. ALL AYES. Vice-President: A motion was made by TRUSTEE WENCZEL and seconded by TRUSTEE KING to elect Trustee John Holzapfel as Vice-President. ALL AYES. 2. Meetings: Review Tentative Schedule for meetings and. Worksessions. A motion was made by TRUSTEE. HOLZAPFEL and seconded by TRUSTER WENCZEL to approve the tentative meeting schedule for 1997. ALL AYES. East End Trustees: No discussion or meetings set at this time. 3 . New Business: 4. 0ld Business: The Board reviewed the following: Fee. Schedule: Yearly Report: 5. - Proper-T Permit� Servi.ces on behalf SCOTT PATCHELL. requests a Wetland Permit. to construct a single family residence approx.. 32 ' X 72' overall, with deck approx. 141. X 47' ; construct retaining wall. approx. 4' high, 86,' long with two 30' returns. Located 1075 West Hill Road., Southold.. SCTM 470-4-24. Mr. Fitzgerald revised the application and the board discussed. same- Ms. Collin, Mr. Devlyn., Mrs.. Guyton voiced- their concerns. with the height of the proposed fence and keeping with area. A motion was. made. by TRUSTEE. HOLZAPFEL and seconded by TRUSTEE. WENCZEL to close. the public hearing. ALL AYES., A motion was made by TRUSTEE HOLZAPFEL and seconded by TRUSTEE WENCZEL to approve the revised application as follows: A 4' fence along bulkhead., a 6' high fence on each side of property line from the bulkhead to the rear of the house. A 12' non-turf buffer behind bulkhead. Any fill from excavation will be moved to upland source.. The. house is. out of the Trustee jurisdiction, however, the Trustees request cuttera and drywells. ALL AYES... 6. Vivien Soo: Mr. Fitzgerald asks that the permit for the house and the dock be separated as Ms. Soo is not able. to pay for the dock portion of the permit. A motion was made by TRUSTEE. January 10, 1997 PRESENT WERE: Albert J. Krupski, Jr. Peter Wen.czel., Member James King, Member Jill Doherty, Clerk The following action was taken by the Southold Town. Board of Trustee at a special meeting held.. on Friday, January 10, 1997 at 3 : 30; WHEREAS, the Southold Town Board of Trustees are aware of the condition of the scallop population, WHEREAS, the Southold Town Board of Truste.es: understand. the economic impact of a good, scallop harvest. on- the. local economy. WHEREAS, the Southold Town Board of Trustees have the utmost concern to the future of the scallop in Town Waters, WHEREAS., the scallops. in question are a public resource which grow in public waters and on public lands. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED .that the Southold Town Board of Trustees close the scallop season until the fall of 1997, effective immediately. Polled by Phone: John Holzapfel, Vice President ALL AYES.
