While I realize that the omission of sidewalks on Youngs -Avenue on the Found- , ers Village site plan was a mere oversight on the part of the Planning Board, I will gladly comply with your request to install sidewalks. However, before we can proceed with any construction on the sidewalks,. I must have a determination as to whether the walks are to be placed on the road right of way or on rounders Village property. Mr. Latham suggested that the planning board consult with the Highway Department on this matter and advise me of its decision. By the spring of 1986 I will have completed our first nine buildings and reci- reation facilities thereby completing Section I. In the spring of 1986, I plan to have a major planting of both street and site trees in and around Section I. I am currently accepting bids on this planting and am planning to plant over 80 trees . in -this section alone. By using different species of trees, it certainly will add to the attractiveness of this project. efforts here are concentrated on makingI I can assure youthat all of my - � Found- ers Village a showplace in Southold Township and -in building a condominium thatx�e all � can be proud of. It is my intent that Founders Village be a "Good Neighbor" here in Southold, and I believe our actions have proven this to be so.
