Dear Mr. Nickles :
The following action was taken by the Southold Town
Planning Board December .11, 1983 .
RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board approve
a set-off (106-13) as designated on the map of Dorothy Madowitz
& Ethel Rothstein for the conveyance of the 15 . 939 acres of
wetlands to the Nature Conservancy and the 25 .2.9 acres of up-
land to be sold under the Suffolk County Farm Preservation.
Upon receipt of the above maps , the Chairman will en-
dorse approval ; two signed maps will be returned to you for
your records .

Dear Henry:
Enclosed herewith is an application on behalf of Madowitz
and Rothstein for a set off, a letter of authorization from
Mr. Allen Maurer, six copies of the survey depicting the
set off and the $50 .00 fee.
Madowitz/Ro.thstein are in contract to sell 25.29 acres
of upland;-that is encumbered under the Suffolk County
Farm Preservation covenants and restrictions , which is
Parcel Ifr Parcel II, which is wetlands and not part of
The County Farm Preservation C & R's is to be transferred
to The Nature Conservancy, ( 15.939 acres wetlands ) .
My clients are anxious to conclude this matter this calendar
year, and expect to close both transactions on December 21st .
Your cooperation to move this quickly is appreciated by
all the parties concerned.

The following statements are offered for your consideration '--
in the review of the above-mentioned minor subdivision and its
referral to the Suffolk County Planning Commission:
(1) No grading, other than foundation excavation for a
residential building is proposed.
(2) No new roads are proposed and no changes will be made in
the grades of the existing roads.
(3) No new drainage structures or alteration of existing
structures are proposed.
