of improved road is in acceptable condition. Mere are now additional driveways
in the immediate vicinity for turning emergency vehicles.
I recommend approval of the access road.

Dear Mr. Raynor nad Planning Board,
We are requesting a building permit with a delay in correcting a
violation.
Late in November of 182 we instructed Dave Horton , our builder,
to apply for a building permit. We had complied with all requirments
as to D.E.C. and Board of Health approval, also surveys done.
Mr. Horton was advised by Mr. Hinderma_n, of your building dept-
went, of a violation in effect against David L. Gillispie,minor sub-
division # 165 reguarding plot #1 access road. We contacted Mr. Gillis-
pie and he agreed to hiring a contractor to put dorm the necessary gravel
to comply with the engineers recommendation. Our understanding was that
this would be done immediately. Mr. Gillispie is now in Florida for
an unknown length of time and the contractor has not done the job.
We ask for your approval of our building permit with the stipulation
that a Certificate of Occupancy will not be granted until this road
meets the requirements. We accept the responsibility of having this done,
and the violation corrected.

today at the above subdivision. Bank run sand and gravel has
been placed for a 2" ± depth at 10 ft. in width as recommended.
The material brought in is satisfactory but has not been spread
evenly. The surface should be reshaped.

EXISTING ACCESS RCA D
COWENTS:
The access from the State Highway into the above subdivision is in a 30 ft.
R.O.W. 7he road varies from 8 ft. to 10 ft. in width fcr a length of
approximately 600 L.F. It is stabilized, with sand and gravel and is in
fairly good condition. However, I would recommend that the last 150 ft. be
updated with 211 of the same kind of gravel mixture used in the original road
for a width of 10 ft. According to Mr. Gillispie, topsoil was removed for
the total length when the road was constructed quite some time ago. The
house on Lot No. 5 has a circular concrete driveway at the north east corner
which would serve as a turning area for emergency vehicles. The only other
house in the subdivision (Mr. Gillispie's residence) has access from another
road.

We have received your letter of June 1, 1972, with attachments for the
above referenced project. In reviewing the submission, we find that under
our code, this is not a minor subdivision, as it consists of five lots;
therefore, we require a full submission with the usual fee of $3,50 per lot.
We would normally require a test well for this project, however, in in-
specting. the site this morning, it was noted that a house is under construc-
tion by G. Ahlers, and we will consider the well for this home as our check
of the availability of a good water supply. Until such time as we have the
water analysis results from this well and a complete submission, we are not
in a position to approve this application.
