Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Tuthill; WHEREAS, the County of Suffolk wishes to condemn a 16 ft. strip. of land on the North Road, Cutchogue, N.Y. owned by the Town of Southold for the widening of the present road, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Town of Southold sell this strip of land for $1.00 to the County of Suffolk. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor AlbertsaA; Councilmen Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Tuthill; WHEREAS, bids for radios and equipment for use Spy Police of the Town of Southold, were opened on Sept. 29, 1964 at 3: 30 P.M. , and WHEREAS, it would be in the best interest of the Town of Southold to reject all bids at this time, RESOLVED: That all bids received far the purchase of said radio equip- ment be and the same hereby are rejected, and IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Supervisor be and he is hereby author- ized and directed to prepare new specifications for the purchase of radios and radio equipment for the use of the police department and to advertise for bids thereon pursuant to law.
