MEETING OF OCTOBER 5, 1965. '
The .Southold Town Board met at the office of *the Supervisor, Lester

The Town Clerk presented` to the Town Board: detailed estimated of'--
revenue and expenditures from the various Town officers,depart
ments and-district-s for- the fiscal year beginning January 1-; 1966,
pursuant to' Section-III. of 'the'- Town-Law:

RESOLVED: That the next meeting of the Town Board of Southold be
held at the office. of the Supervisor, Lester. M. Albertson, at 16
South Street, Greenport, New York, on Tuesday, October 19, 19651
at 3:00 P.M.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest
and Valentine; Justices muthill and Clark.
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Tuthill:
.WHEREAS, Irving L. Price, representing Rarus, Inc, by petition ver-
ified the 15th day of July, 1965, petitioned the Town Board for a
change of zone of certain real property situated in Arshamomoque,
New York, described in said petition from "A" Residential and Agric-
ultural District to "B-2" Business District, and
WHEREAS, the said petition was referred to the Planning Board for
its official recommendation and report, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board, pursuant to due notice thereof, held a
hearing thereon on the 28th day of September, 1965, at which time
all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Southold Town Building
Zone Ordinance including the Building Zone Maps be. amended from
"A" Residential and Agriculur al District to "B-211 Business District
on the following described property:
ALL that certain tract or parcel of land at Arshamomoque,
Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New York,
bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a monument in the southerly line of Middle
(North) Road 365.09 feet easterly from it' s intersection
with the easterly line of Chapel Lane; thence N. 360 33 '
-20" E. 390.0 feet; thence S. 530 26' 40" E. 400.0 feet;
thence S. 360 33� 2011 W. 390.0 feet; thence N. 530 26' 401,
W. 400.0 feet totthe point or' place of beginning, con-
taining 3.581 acres.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby -is
authorized and directed to cause notice of said amendment to be post-
ed and published pursuant to law.

be authorized to advertise for bids and to purchase from the lowest
responsible-bidder, the following:, 100 tons- of No. 1- grade (or equal)
Cayuga' Rock Salt,- delivered in 100. 1b., paper bags to� Peconie, N.Y.

RESOLVED: .That General Bills in the amount of $5,614.34; Fisher s. Island
Ferry District bills in the amount of $9, 947.04; Lighting District
bills in the amount of $248.75 and Highway bills in the amount. of
$8,648.17 be and the same are hereby ordered paid.

RESOLVED: That this Taman Board does hereby prepare and approve as
the Preliminary Budget of this Town; for the fiscal year beginning
on the 1st day of January, 1966 the itemized. statement of estimated
revenues and expenditures hereto attached and made a part of this
resolution, and be it further.
RESOLVED: .That such preliminary budget shall , be filed in the office
of the Town Clerk where it shall be available for inspection by any
interested person at all reasonable hours, and be it further
RESOLVED.- .That this Board, shall meet at. 3:00 o'clock P.M. on the
3rd day of November, 1965,. for the purpose. of holding a public
hearing upon such preliminary budget, and be it further
RESOLVED: That . the Town Clerk give notice. of such hearing in the
manner provided -in Section 113 . of the Town haw, and that such notice

UPON PRELIMINARY BUDGET
Notice is hereby given that the preliminary budget of the Town of
Southold, Suffolk County, New York, for the fiscal year beginning
January 1, 1966, has been completed and filed in the office of the
Town Clerk at Southold, New York, where it is available for inspect-
ion by any interested.person at all reasonable hour-s.
Further Notice is, hereby given that the ,Town Board of -the,Town of, _ '
Southold will meet and review said preliminary budget and hold.,a
public hearing thereon .,at the office of the. Supervisor, 1.6 South,
Street, Greenport, New York, ,in said Town, at 3: 00 P.M. on the- 3rd ,
