MEETING OF JUNE 25, 1965 .
The Southold Town Board met at thec:office of the Supervisor, Lester M.
Albertson, at Greenport,, N.Y. on June 25, 1965, with_ the following
present: Supervisor Albertson; Councilman Demarest; Justices Tuthill
and Clark; Supt. o£ Highways Price and Town Clerk.,Richmond.
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman Demarest;
RESOLVED: That the minutes of June 7, 1965 be and. they are hereby
approved. _Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilman
Demarest and Justices Tuthill and Clark.
Moved by Councilman pemarest; seconded by Justice Clark;
RESOLVED: That the next meeting of the Town Board will be held at the
office of Supervisor Lester M. Albertson, 16 South St., Greenport, N.Y.
on July 13, 1965, at 3: 00 P.M.

WHEREAS, the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Historical Society, Cutchogue, N.Y.
has requested permission to use Cases Lane for recreation and activities
on July 10, 1965 from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and August 14th, 1965 from
noon to 11:00 P.M. ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Cases Lane, Cutchogue, N.Y. be
closed to the public traffic at Route 25 to the first private driveway
on the hours and dates stated above.

WHEREAS,James J. Mazzaferro has applied to the Town Board for a single

Mazzaferro to locate a single trailer on his father' s property be and

WHEREAS, Reydon Shores Property Owners Association applied to the Town
Board for some financial assistance in dredging the Harbpr and Lagoon
at Reydon Shores,
NOS, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Lester M. Albertson, Supervisor,
be and he hereby is authorized to contribute half of the total cost
up to but not to exceed the sum of $475 .00 toward the cost of the
dredging.

WHEREAS, Arthur J. Mallet, Jr. has requested permission to run a water
pipe on Town property, and
WHEREAS, the HighwaySuperintendent has examined the situation and
recommends the issuance of a permit therefore,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Town Board hereby authorizes
the Supt. to issue a permit for the placing of a water pipe within the
bounds of the Town Highway.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That a second public hearing will be
held by the Town Board of the Town of Southold at the Supervisor ' s
Office, 16 South Street, Greenport, N.Y. on the 13th day of July, 1965,
at .7: 30 P.M. on the matter of the enactment of the following Ordinance,
to wit:- Ordinance on page 85, with the only change being ::SECTION VI.
subdivision (e) which will read as follows:
(e) The autos, parts and materials dealt in by the licensee shall be
disassembled or dismantled. They shall be piles or arranged in neat
rows so as to_,permit .easy clear passage through the area.
