Meeting of February 5, 1965 .
The Southold Town Board met--at the office of Supervisor -Lester M.
Albertson at Greenport, New, York, on Fri-day, February 5, . 1965. The
Meeting was called to order at 3: 0-0 P.M. with -the following present: -
-Supervisor Albertson; Councilman Demarest and Valentine;- Justices .
Tuthill and Clark; Town Attorney Tasker and Town Clerk Richmond.
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Tuthill: --
RESOLVED: -That the minutes of the regular meeting of the January19, -
1965,- and the Special meetingsof January 26,- 1965 and January 28, 1965,
be and they hereby are duly- approved. -
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest
and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark.
Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Councilman Demarest;
RESOLVED: That` the next regular meeting of this Town Board will' be
held at the__ office of the- Supervisor, Lester M. Albertson, 16 South
Street-; Greenport,- New York, on Tuesday,- February 16, 1965, at 3: 00 P.M.
Vote. of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest
and Valentine; -Justices Tuthill and Clark.

-.RESOLVED:. That the report of Lester M. Albertson, Supervisor, for
the month of January, 1965; be accepted by-the Town Board and placed
on. file.:

Tuthill and Clark.

RESOLVED: That the report of Albert W. Richmond, Town Clerk, for the
month .of January, 1965, be accepted by ,the Town 'Board and placed on
file.

and Valentine; Justices Tuthill dnd Clark.
Moved -by Justice Tuthill; seconded- by Justice Clark;
RESOLVED: That the Police Report for the month of January, 196-5, be
accepted by the Town Board and placed on file.

RESOLVED: That the report of Ralph P. Cox, Dog Warden, for the month
of January, 1965, be accepted by the Town Board and placed on file.

and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark.
Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Justice Tuthill:
RESOLVED: That the report of Howard M. Terry, Building Inspector, for
the month of January, 1965, be accepted by the Town Board and placed
on file.

and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark.
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Tuthill:
WHEREAS, Rene Gendron has made written application to the Town Board
dated November25, 1964 to dedicate acertainhighway.:; at Southold, New
York, Town of Southold, to be known as "Grange Road" , being more par-
ticularly described in said petition together with releases executed
by the owner thereof and
WHEREAS, the Highway Superintendent has inspected said highway and has
advised the Town Board that said proposed highway complies in all
respects to the specifications for the dedication of highways in the
Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That in accordance with Section 171
of the Highway Law of the - State of New York, consent be and the same
is hereby given to the Superintendent of Highway to make an order
laying out the aforesaid Highway;= to` consist of lands, described in
said application _ and - shown on' certain. maps attached to said .application,
and be it further
RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby is authorized and
directed to forthwith cause the dedication and release to be recorded
in the office of the Clerk of. the County of Suffolk, New York.

RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby is directed to request
the Long Island Lighting Company to place seven (7) . 100 watt overhead
streetlights on poles #2, 9, 11, 13, 19, 21,27 and two (2). MV0H street „
lights on poles_ .#307 and No Number (Map enclosed) on Ackerly Pond
Lane, formerly known .as Bowery Lane,. in the. -Southold Light District.,
Southold, New York.

and Valentine;.Justices Tuthill. and Clark.
Moved by. Justice Tuthill; --seconded- by Councilman Demarest;
RESOLVED: That.* the down Clerk be and he hereby is directed to request
the Long Island Lighting Company to place 'two (2)--100 cpoh street
lights on NYTCO poles #35. and 3J on Cox' s Lane, Cutchogue, New-York,
in the Cutchogue Light District.

and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark.

RESOLVED: That General Bills in the amount of '$7,-888.45; Lighting
District Bills in the amount of' $18, 188.04; Fishers Island Ferry
District Bills in the amount. of $17, 763 .08, and Highway Bilks
in the amount of $6, 171.50 'be and the same are hereby ordered- paid.
