SPECIAL MEETING OF FEBRUARY 14, 1966
We, the undersigned', being members of the. Town Board of the Town
of _Southold., . Suffolk, County, . New- York, do hereby severally waive
notice of the time, place and purpose of the meeting of the Town.
Board- to be held _at Greenport-, in the. Town of Southold, New York,
on Monday, February 14, 1966. and do hereby; consent that -the -same
be held on said date for the -transaction of any business which
may properly come ,before . s_aid.meeting.

A . special .meeting of the Southold Town. Board was held_ at the
Supervisor' s Office, 16 South Street, Greenport, New York, the
members of. the. Board having waived, •notice of the time, piace and ,
purpose of the meeting. The. meeting was _called -to,,order •by .Supervisor

Moved .by Justice Tuthill;_ seconded by Councilman Valentine;-
WHEREAS, the Board reported that the_ lowest bid for three (3).
new mobile radios for ,use in, Town_ Police cars to be installed
and three (3)._ Motorola radios- to be taken in trade was received
,from Motorola Co. ,.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE. IT .RESOLVED: That Lester M. Albertson,. .Supervisor,
be and he hereby is directed to enter into- a contract .with Motorola
Co., for the purchase ,of said readios' according. to _the bid sub-
mitted at a cost of $2,, 285.25. _

and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark,.

WHEREAS., Vail Bros.- Inc. .by petition Yer,ified_ the 15th. day of ,
December, 1965, petitionedv,the Town, Board for .a change of zone of
certain real property described in said- petition fr p p yom "A" Resident-
ial and Agriculural District to. "B" Business: District, and .
WHEREAS, the said. pe.tition was referred .to .the: Planning Board for
its official recommendation..-and report, ;and
WHEREAS, the Town Board pursuant to due notice thereof, held a
hearing thereon on the 14.th. day. of- February, 1966 at which time _
all interested .persons were .given an..opportunity to be .heard,,
NOW, _THEREFORE,. BE IT -RESOLVED: That. the. Southold- Town Build1ng
Zone Ordinance including the Building Zone Maps be amended from
"A" Residential- and Agriculural District- to "B" Business District;. "
on the following described property: ;.
ALL .that certain tract or parcel _of land situated. at ,Peconic, , in
the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, and more particularly
bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the easterly line of Peconic Lane which
point is 233 .0 feet. norther.ly along said easterly line from the
intersection thereof with the ,northerly line of Main Road. From
said- point of beginning running thence along land now or formerly
of Carl E. Vail and Richard T. Vail two courses as follows: (1)
North 580 51' 20" East 160.97 feet to a monument; thence (2) South
400 of 30" East 20.0 feet to a monument thence along land now or
formerly of Stanley Cirach two courses as follows: (1) North 480 .
39' 30" East 170.0 feet to a monument; thence (2) South 40001'30"
east 180.0 feet to a monument set on the northerly line of Main Road;
running thence along land now or formerly of Gozelski North 300 00'
West 310 feet; thence south 580 51' 20" West 361 feet, more or less
to said easterly line of Peconic Lane; thence along said easterly
line of Peconic Lane South 300 00' East 150.0 feet to a monument
and the point of place of beginning.
