MEETING 'OF JUNE 7, 1966 J
The Southold Town Board met at the office of Supervisor Lester M.
Albertson," 16 ,South' Street, Greenport, New York, on- Tuesady, June 7,
- 1966.' The meeting was called to order by the Supervisor at 3: OO P.M.
with the following present: Supervisor. Albertson; Councilmen Demarest
' ' and -Valentine; -•Justices Tuthill and Clark; Supt. of Highways Dean;,
Town Attorney Tasker and Town Clerk Richmond.
Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Justice Tuthill;
RESOLVED: That the next meeting of the Town Board will be hled at
the office of the Supervisor; Lester M. Albertson, 16 South Street,
Greenport, N.Y. on Tuesday, June 21, 1966 at 3: OO P.M.

of Suffolk, to -increase. the amount contained in its annual budget -for
the: expenses of the Orient mosquito :district. The People. of _the. ;State
of New- York, represented in. Senate and Assembly, do enact as follows:
Section -l. "Notwithstanding any lesser amount, ,otherwise prescrib_ed :by
law, the town board: of the. town of Southold, .county of Suffolk,, is
hereby authorized to include in its -annual.budget of taxes..to;be :Levied
by the board of supervisors of such county upon the property subject,
to taxation in the Orient mosquito district established in such town
pursuant to the pr.,ovision of chapter two hundred -,forty-.six of the . laws
of nineteen hundred sixteen, as amended, . a sum not exceeding five
thousand dollars for the expenses of such district for the extermin-

draw up the necessary papers with the Long Island Lighting Company

OF THE SALE OF SERIAL BONDS OF THE TOWN HERETOFORE
AUTHORIZED TO BE ISSUED FOR THE ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN.
LAND AT CUTCHOGUE, IN SAID TOWN, AS THE..SITE. FOR A
REFUSE DISPOSAL AREA.
RESOLVED by the' town Board of the Town .of Southold, in. the County of
Suffolk, New York, as follows:
Section 1. Bond Anticipation .Notes of the, Town -of Southold, in the
County of Suffolk, New York, in the principal. ainount of $36,000 are here-
by authorized .to be issued at one time or from time to time, as funds
are required, pursuant to the provisions of the- Local Finance Law,
constituting Chapter 33-a of the Consolidated Laws of the State of
New York, for the specific object or purpose as 'm' ore fully described
in, the resolution entitled:
"Bond Resolution of the Town of Southold,. New York
adopted May 10, 1965, authorizing the acquisition of
certain land at Cutchogue, .in said Town., as the site ,
for a refuse. disposal area to be designed.as the site

The period of .maturity of the Notes herein authorized shall. not exceed
one year from the date of ,said Notes and said Notes may be renewed
pursuant to the provisions of said Local Finance Law. Said Notes here-
in authorized are not to be issued for an assessable improvement.
Section 2. Subject to the provisions of this resolution and of the Local
Finance Law, and pursuant to #50.00 and ## 56 .00 to 60.00 of said..Law,
the power to prescribe the terms, form and contents and as to 'the sale
and issuance of the bond anticipation notes authorized by this I. rcS. lu-
tion. are hereby delegated to the .Supervisor., the chief. fiscal. officer
of the Town.
Section 3 . Said Notes shall be executed in the name of the Town by its
Supervisor and the corporate seal..of `said Town shall be . affixed there-

The Town Board of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New
York,-having by order duly adopted. on the 22nd day of March, 1966,
' determined to hold a public hearing in the matter of_ the' extension
of the existing Refuse and Garbage District at Fishers Island, in the
Town of Southold, Suffolk'County, New, York, known as the Fishers
.Island Refuse and Garbage District, by annexing thereto .the territory
hereinafter described, and a' public hearing, .pursuant. to due, notice
thereof, having been held on the 12th, day of April, 1966, at the

The Town Board. of the Town of. Soutvld, Suffolk County, New York,
having by order duly adopted on the 22nd day of March, 1966, ,' determined
to hold a public hearing in the matter of the extension of the- existing
Ferry-District at Fishers Island, in the Town of --Southold,, -Suffolk
County, New York, known as the Fishers Island Ferry District, by annex-
ing thereto the territory hereinafter described; and a public hearing
_pursuant to due notice thereof,- having been held on the 12th, day of
April, 1966, at the Fishers island Fire House at Fishers Island, in the
Town of Southold, Suffolk- County, New York, at which- time and place
said Town Board considered said matter and heatd all persons interested
therein; and said Town -Board having by resolution duly adopted on the
12th day of April, 1966, following the said hearing and upon, the evid-
ence given thereat, duly determined that all of the property and prop-
erty owners within the proposed extension of said District are benefitt-
ed thereby; that all the property and property owners benefitted are
included within the proposed extension of said district, and that it is
in the public interest to extend the boundaries of said district and
duly resolved to extend such Ferry District to embrace the additional
territory hereinafter described, which said resolution was subject to
a permissive 'referendum as provided in Section 209-e of the Town Law,
and no'-pei tion requesting that the matter of the extension of the
boundaries of said district be submitted to a referendum of the proper-
ty owners of the proposed extended district having been filed with the
