Ferry District has been authorized- to-•seek bids for ,the ,construction of: an 82 fopt vehicular Ferry, --and WHEREAS, on •Friday, February' 29, 1966 at 2:00 .P.M. the Commissioners . opened the only proposal submitted as follows: Blount Marine Corporation, Warren, R.I. Complete in every respect - $164,500.00 Complete-'-in every respect but without the--bow' thruster - $155,500.00 BE IT RESOLVED: That .the alternate quotation of Blount Marine Copporation of Warren, R,.I. for the' vessel complete in every respect byt eliminating the bow thruster , in ,the amount• of $155,500.00- be accepted, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: -That the Board of Commissioners of the Fishers Island Ferry District be and.- they hereby are authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Blount.
