Joyce Terry appeared before the Board in relation to private owned
wetlands and the digging of salt water channels .
John Corcoran, Sayville, N.Y, appeared before the Board requesting
that the C.S .E.A, be accepted as the bargaining agent for the employees
of Town of Southold.
Adjournment was at 5 :45 P.M.

SPECIAL MEETING OF DECEMBER 19, 1967
WE, the undersigned, being members of the Town Board of the Town of South-
old, Suffolk County, New York, do hereby severally waive notice of the
time, place and purpose of the meeting of the Town Board to, be held ate
Greenport, in the Town "of Southold, New York,, on Tuesday, December 19,
1967 , and do hereby consent that the same be held on said date forthe
transaction of any business which may properly come before the said meet-'

A special meeting of the Southold Town Board was held at the office of the
Supervisor, Lester M. Albertson, 16 South Street, Greenport, .N.Y, on
December 19, 1967 , the members of the Board having waived notice of the
time, place and purpose of the meetiAgg The meeting was called to order
by Supervisor Lester M. Albertson at 19:30 P.M.
Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Councilman Demarest; ,
RESOLVED: That $500.00 be and hereby is transferred as follows : From sur-
plus Fund to property purchase fund for option agreement with Charles
Slama and Lovese Slama, his wife, for purchase of property, Peconic, N.Y.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes- Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and
Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark.
Moved, by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Councilman Valentine;
WHEREAS, Charles. and Louise Slama, his wife, have agreed to give the' Town
of Southold an option to purchase property at Peconic, generally bounded
North and East by land owned by the Town of Southold, South by Main Road
and West by land of• Sternemann for the sum of $23, 500.00 , said option
to expire on March 1, 1968, and
WHEREAS, this Board . deems it in the public interest that the Town obtain
an option to purchase the said premises on the aforesaid terms,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Supervisor be and- hereby- is auth-
orized and directed to enter into an option agreement with Charles Slama
and Louise Slama, his wife, in consideration of the sum' of $500.00 to
purchase premises hereinabove described for the sum of $23, 500.00, said -
option to be exercised on or before March 1, 1968.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes- Supervisor Albertson; Councilmend Demarest
and Valentine.
