Albertson; at Greenport, N.Y. on Wednesday, November. 29, 1967 ,,_with the following -present: Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark;. Town Attorney- T.asker; Supt. of Highways Dean and Town Clerk Richmond. , Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Councilman Valentine; RESOLVED: That the minutes of November 8, 1967 , be. and they hereby ar.e approved. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; councilmen Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tuthill. amd Clark. Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Justice. Tuthill; RESOLVED: That the next meeting of the Town Board will be held at the office of' the Supervisor, Lester M. Albertson, 16 outh Street, Greenport, New York on Tuesday, December 12, 1967 , at 3 :.00 P.M. RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby is directed to request the Long Island Lighting Company .to make a' survey for street lights on Salt- aire Way and Wavecrest Lane, both in Mattituck, N.Y. Vote. of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor ALbertson; Councilmen Demarest. and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Councilman Demarest; WHEREAS, Wunneweta Pond Association, Nassau Point,. N.Y, applied to the Town Board for financial assistance in dredging the entrance of Wunneweta Pond, 'NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Supervisor Lester M. Albertson be and he hereby is authorized to contribute half of the total cost up to but not to exceed the sum of $475.00 toward the cost of dredging the entrance of Wunneweta Pond, Nassau Point, .Cutchogue, N.Y. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Justce; TtYa .la;; •_::i:ne; seconded by Councilman Demarest; RESOLVED: That Bond No-. 735-7262-BC, issued by the Aetna Casualty and Surety Company in the name of George Mellas , Ta k Receiver, Town -of Southold, in the sum of $100, 000.00 be and the same is hereby approved as to its form, manner of execution and sufficiency of sureties therein. Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Councilman Valentine; WHEREAS, Mabel Miles has applied to the Town Board for a single trailer renewal permit dated, Nov. , 1967 , NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That -the application of Mabel Miles to locate a single trailer on her property, Private Road, Mattituck, N.Y. be and hereby is granted for a six month period. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded b y Councilman _Demarest; WHEREAS, Southold Planning Board has prepared an official report and recommendation upon the petition of Galileo Valentini and, Addie D. Valentini, Fishers Island, N.Y. for a change of zone from "A" Residential and Agricultural District to "B" Business District on certain property located on Fishers Island, N.Y. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That a public hearing will be held by the Southold Town Board at the Fishers Island Fire House, Fishers Island, N.Y, on Tueaday, December 19, 1967 , at 12 :00 noon on the above mentioned . petition and that the Town Clerk be and he hereby is authorized and direct- ed to cause notice of said hearing to be published in the Suffolk Weekly Times pursuant to the requirements of law. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; councilmen Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark. 4313 Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Councilman Valentine; WHEREAS, Southold Town Planning Board has prepared an official report and recommendation upon the Town Board ' s own motion to make a zone change from "B" Business District and non-conforming uses to "M" Multiple Residence District on certain property in West Greenport, N.Y. , NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: . That a public hearing will be held by the Southold Town Board at the Supervisor 's Office, 16 South Street, Greenport, N.Y. on Tuesday, December 19, 1967 , at 7 :30 P.M.. on the above mentioned petition and that the Town Clerk be and he hereby is authorized and directed to cause notice of said hearing to be published in the Suffolk Weekly Times pursuant to the requirements of law. WHEREAS, this Board deems it in the public interest and in the promotion of the health, safety,- moral or general welfare of . the Town of Southold that certain premises east side of Kenney's Road, . Southold, N.Y.- , County of Suffolk, hereinafter more fully described be rezoned and. zoned from . "B" Business District to "A" Residential and Agricultural District, NOW, THEREFORE., BE IT RESOLVED: That the Building Zone Ordinance of the Town of Southold, including the Building Zone Maps, forming apart thereof, be amended by the Town Board on . it' s own motion, by changing from ".B" Bds- iness uses to "A" Residential and Agricultural District the following . described property: BEGINNING at the intersection of the easterly line of Kenney's Road, with the southerly line of North Sea Drive; from said point of beginning running easterly along said, southerly line oaf -North Sea Drive, 183 feet more or less; thenc�e. south- erly 550 feet more or less , to the northerly line of Dogwood Lane; thence westerly along said northerly line of Dogwood Lane, 285 feet more or less ,- to said easterly line of Kenney' s Road; thence northerly along said easterly line, 580 f6et more or less, to the point of beginning. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That prusuant to Article IX Section 901, of the Building Zone Ordinance of the Town of Southold, the Town Clerk -be and he hereby is authorized and directed to transmit a copy of this resolution to the Planning oard of the Town of Southold with a written request in- structing said Planning Board to prepare an official report concerning. the same, together with their recommendation. Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Justice Clark; RESOLVED: That the Southold Town Board will accept a Bond of :.$16, 000 as recommended by the Southold Town Planning Board for the completion of the roads, water lines and other improvements in the, subdivisonto be known as REDWOOD PARK, Southold, N.Y. owned and developed by George Barzac, Jr. Vote of own Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; ouncilren Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tuthi-1 and Clark. Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Justice Clark; RESOLVED: That the Southold Town Board will accept a Bond of $7 ,-000 as recommended by the Southold Town Planning Board for the completion of the roads and other improvements in the subdivision to be known as VISTA BLUFF, Cutchogue, N.Y. owned and developed by Rene Gendron. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; .Councilmen Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Councilman Demarest WHEREAS, Southold Town Planning Board recommended to- the Southold Town Board that the Bond for Deep Hole Creek' Estates located at Mattituck„ owned -and developed by Frank' Zaleski be extended for a period of two years, RESOLVED: That the Bond for Deep Hole Creek Estates , located at'.Mattituck, owned and developed by Frank ' Zaleski be and hereby is extended for a period of two (2) year. Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Clark; RESOLVED: That the Southold Town Board hereby accepts. a Bank. Deposit Book of North Fork Bank & Trust Company presented to Supervisor Lester M. Albertson containing deposits of $9, 000.00 as recommended by the r Southold Town Planning Board for the completion. of roads in the suvdiv- ision known as SUNSET KNOLLS, owned by Stanley Sledjeski, Mattituck, NY Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman Demarest; RESOLVED: That Martin Suter, newly elected Justice of the Peace, be and he hereby is authcr ized to attend Justice School, Albany, New York, and be it further RESOLVED: That all actual and necessary expenses incurred while attending said school be a legal charge against the Town. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen DeT rest and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Building Inspector Howard M. Terry presented an application for a road to be known as. Beebe Drive Extension to the Town Board. This application was turned over to the Planning Board for it' s recommendation and approval, to be turned over to the Town Board.
