aThe Southold Town Board met at the office of the Supervisor, Lester M.
Albertson, at Greenport, New York, on Tuesday, April 18, 1967 with the
following. present: Supervisor Alber.tson; 'Councilmen Demarest and Valen
tine; Justices Tuthill and Clark; Town Attorney Tasker; Superintendent
of Highways Dean and Town Clerk Richmond.
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman Valentine;
RESOLVED: That the minutes of the meeting of April 4, 1967 be and they
are duly approved.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and
Valentine; . Just,ices Tuthill and Clark.
Moved by Councilman .Valentine; seconded by Justice Clark;
RESOLVED: That the next meeting of the Town .Board will be held at the
office of the Supervisor, Lester M. Albertson, 16 South Street, Green-
port, New York, on Tuesday, May .9, 1967 , at 3 :00 P.M.

WHEREAS, Mabel Miles has applied to the Town Board for a single trailer

locate a single trailer on her property, Private Road, Mat ituck., New
York, be and hereby is granted for a six month period. "

WHEREAS, Gertrude Koop has applied to the Town Board for a- single trailer
dated. April, 1967 ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of Ger'trtae Koop to
locate a single trailer on her property, . Bay Avenue, Mattituck., N.Y.
while her house is being renovated following a fire, be and hereby is
granted for a period of six (6) months.

WHEREAS, Home Exchange Inc. , by petition verified the 25th day of March,
1966, petitioned the Town Board for a change of zone of. certain real
property described in said petition from "A" Residential and Agriculural
District to "B-2" Business District, and
WHEREAS,, the said petition was referred to the Planning Board for its
official recommendation and report, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Board has filed its official report with the Town
Board, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board, ' pursuant to due notice thereof, held a hearing '
thereon on the . 20th day of December, 1966, at which time all interested
persons were given an opportunity -to be heard,
NOW, THEREFORE" BE IT RESOLVED: That the relief demanded in said petition
of Home Exchange Inc. be and the same is in all respects DENIED.

expires on April 19, 1967 , and
WHEREAS, in the past, as a member of the Board of Appeals, Robert W.
Gillispie, Jr. has rendered the Town of Southold a most valuable .service,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Robert W. Gillispie, Jr. be. and he
hereby is appointed as a member of the Southold Town Board of Appeals -
for a term of five (5) years commencing April. 19, 1967 and ending
April 19, 1972.

appointed as- a,,member of the Southold Town Planning Board for a term
of five (5) years commencing April 30, 1967 and ending April 30,- 1972 .

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk of the Town of
Southold be and he hereby is directed to transmit this ,application to
the Planning Board in accordance with Section 901, Subdivision C of
Article IX of the Building Zone Ordinance of the Town of Southold.:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby is
authorized 'to sign the necessary papers on behalf .of the Town of Southold
for above request, and it is further
RESOLVED: That the microfilming be carried out according to the agreement
filed in the' Town Clerk Office.

Audrey Gale, SEcond Street, Greenport, New Yo- k, appeared before the Board
requesting financial aid for Project Head Start. They are interested' i'n
renting a home formerly used as a nursing home in Greenport, N.Y., for'
children from 2 to 42 years of age. Mrs. Gale stated that they had .some
Federal Aid but felt that it would be insufficient to carry on the project
for the full year. The Bca rd requested a copy of their financial budget
and informed Mrs . Gale that they would discuss the matter at the'-next'
meeting of the Town Board.
Irving Miller, Public Accountant, retained by the Town, has audited the
accounts of all departments of the Town of Southold under Section 105
of the Town Law, and has found them to be correct. The reports follow:
