Town of Southold, New York, on Friday,, the 3rd day of March, 1967 , and do hereby consent that the same be held on said date for the transaction of, any business which may. properly come before said meeting. Richmond, Town- Clerk A special meeting of the Southold Town Board was held at the Supervisor ' s Office, 16 6outh Street, Greenport, N.Y. the members of the Board having waived notice of the time, place and purpose of' the meeting. The meet- ing was called to order by Supervisor Lester M. Albertson at 2 :00 P.M. Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Councilman Demarest; RESOLVED: That .a general bill in the amount of $731.00• be and hereby is ordered paid. Vote of Town Board: . Ayes-supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman Demarest; " RESOLVED: That Supervisor Lester M. Albertson be and he hereby is authorized to sign necessary papers for Home Rule' Act on behalf of the Town Board which requests the passage of a bill allowing "the Commissioner of Public Works to be or not to be the Superintendent of Highways. Vote_ of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarestand Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Justice Tuthill; RESOLVED: That Supervisor Lester M. Albertson be and he hereby is authorized to sign necessary papers of an Act on behalf of the Town Board which requests the passage of the following Legislation: AN ACT to amend the retirement and social security law, in relation to retirement of members of `th'e police force or department of, certain towns and villages in the county of Suffolk after twenty years of service. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Adjournment was at 3 :00 P.M. Albert W. Richmond Town Clerk
