The Southold Town Board met at the office of the Supervisor, Lester M.
Albertson, at Greenport, New York, on January 24, 1967 with the follow-
ing, present: Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and' Val'entine;
Justices Tuthill and Clark; Town Attorney Tasker; Supt. of Highways Dean
and Town Clerk Richmond.
Moved by Councilman Valentine;`'Heconded by Justice Clark;
RESOLVED: That the next meeting of the Town Board, will be .held at- the
office of the Supervisor, Lester M. Albertson, 16 South Street, Green-
port, N.Y. on the 14th day of February, 1967 at 3 :00 P.M.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson;_ Coiznoilmen Demarest and
Valentine; Justices ' Tuthill and Clark.
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman Valentine;
RESOLVED: That the minutes of January 3, 1967 and January 10, 1967
be and they hereby are duly approved.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest
and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark.
Moved .by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Councilman Demarest;
RESOLVED: That the Supt. of Highways of the Town of Southold be author-
ized to advertise for bids and to purchase- from the lowest responsible
bidder, one (1) Tractor-Mower.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest
and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark.
Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Councilman Valentine;
RESOLVED: Th/a, Supervisor Albertson be and he hereby is authorized
to purchases r ( parcels of land from the County of Suffolk listed
in the Tax Books "a"l 'Unknown Owner and situated in Wickham Park, Arsha-
momaque, L.I. , the sum for same not to exceed $ s�

Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; ouncilmen Demarest
and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark.
Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Justice Clark;
WHEREAS, Marian Council #3852 Knights of Columbus, Cutchogue, N.Y.
applied to the Town Clerk for a Bingo License, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board has examined the application and after invest-
igation duly made findings and determinations as required by law,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Supervisor be and he hereby
is authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the Town Board the
findings and determinations' as required by law, and it is further
RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby is directed to issue
a Bingo License to the Marian Council #3852 , Knights of Columbus,
Cutchogue, New York.

Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark.
Moved by Counclman Valentine; seconded by Councilman Demarest;
RESOLVED: That the Southold Town Board goes on record as opposing
State Senate Bill 563 - AN ACT to amend the Town and Village law in
relation to eliminating property ownership as a qualification for election
appointment or continuance in certain offices and for voting on certain
propositions.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and
Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark.
Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Justice Clark;
RESOLVED: That Supervisor Lester M. Albertson be and he hereby is
authorized to contact the Suffolk County Park Commission to investig-
ate the possibility of using the causeway between East Marion and
Orient as a County Park.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest
and Valentine' Justices Tuthill and Clark.

RESOLVED: That Supervimr Lester M. Albertson be and he hereby is
authorized to advertise for bids for approximately 800 feet of Chain
Link Fence with slats for use' on Town Property.
Vote of Town Board: .Ayes-Supervsior Albertson; Councilmen Demarest
and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark.
Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Clark;
RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby is directed to request
the Long Island Lighting Company to. place_.one (1) 175 MVOH street
light on Pole # 83 LILCO on Mill Lane, Old Mill, Mattituck, N.Y.

and Valentine; Justices Tuthill and Clark .
