The Southold Towri Board met at the office of Supervisor Lester M. Albert-
son,, 16 South Street, Greenport, 'New York, on Tuesday, December' 24,' 1968.
The meeting was called to order at 11:00 A.M. with the' -following present:
Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Valentine; Justice Clark;
Town Attorney Tasker; and Town Clerk Richmond. Absent: Justice Suter and
Justice E. .Perry Edwards.
Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Justice Clark;
RESOLVED: That the next meeting of the Town Board will be held at the
office of the Supervisor, 16 South Street, Greenport, N.Y.on January 2,
1969 at 3 :00 P.M.
Vote of Town Board: Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Valentine; .
Justice Clark.
Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by.'Justice Clark;
RESOLVED: That the minutes of December 10, 1968, be and they hereby are
duly appo"oved.

RESOLVED: That the following bills be 'and the same are hereby ordered
paid: Litton Automated Business System - $291.45 and Adding Machine-$264.60. .

RESOLVED: That the town .board' will accept a' Bond of $15, 000.00 'as recomm-
ended by the Southold Town Planning Board for the completion of roads,
drainage and other improvements in the Subdivision known-as •D NET W

RESOLVED: That the Town. Board will accept a Bond of $42, 000. 00 as re comm-
ended by the Town Board for the completion of roads_, drainage and other
improvements in the subdivision known as"SHOR-CRES;.T:" owned by Valentine
Rush, Southold, N.Y.
Vote of Town. Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; councilmen Demarest and
Valentine.;;. Justice Clark.

RESOLVED: That the following bill be and the same is `hereby ordered paid:
Southold Town Td.& Receiver for tax bill on property purchased by the Town
in Peconic, NJ5Y. in the amount of $129.86.

Valentine; Justice Clark.
The following resignation was received from Frank Dawson:
Dear Sirs : I, Frank Dawson, of the' Town of Southold, Suffolk bounty, New
York, having ,been duly elected to the office of Town Trustee in and for
the Town of Southold, on the 7th day of November, 1967 and having duly
qualified as-'such officer, do hereby resign such office, to take effect
midnight on December 31, 1968. Dated December 20, 1968. Frank Dawson.
Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Justice Clark;
WHEREAS, Frank Dawson has resigned his elected office of Town Trustee,
Town of Southold, due to the retirement age of 70 years,
NOW, THEREFORE,, BE IT RESOLVED: That Frank Dawson, New Suffolk, New York,
be and hereby is appointed to fill his unexpired term of office of Town
Trustee, Town of Southold, New York.

Valentine; Justice Clark.
Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Councilman Demarest;
RESOLVED: That Supervisor Albertson be and he hereby is authorized to
sign the contract for winter haulage of Police Boat.

RESOLVED:. That the reports of the Bay Constable and Justice Suter for the
month� of November, ' 1968, be and hereby are accepted' by the Town, Board and
placed on file.

Valentine; Justice Clark.
Supervisor Albertson reported that he had received the report from Audit
and Control on Town IGeneral and .Fishers Island Ferry District.`

WHEREAS, Oscar. Goldin applied to the Town Board for a single trailer -
per-mit dated December r16, 1968, _
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of Oscar Goldin to
locate a single trailer on his property, Linnet Street, Greenport, N.Y.
be .and hereby is granted for' a period of s'ix . (6) months.

RESOLVED: That the Southold Town Clerk be and he hereby is directed to
request .the Long Island Lighting Company to install the following lights:
One 100 cp light on LILCO `pole #2, Betts. Street, Cutchogue, N.Y. '
One 175 MV on pole- #4, Stillwater Ave. & First Street, Cutchogue,. N.Y.
Remove 100 cp and replace with 175 MV on Pole #7 ,' Mechanic Street & Youngs
Avenue, southold, N.Y.
One 100 cp light on pole ##28, Pequash Ave. , *& 'North- Cross Road; Cutchogue, NY

WHEREAS, John J. Klein Sr.' has applied to 'the Town Board for a -'single
trailer renewal permit dated December 11, 1968,'
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of John J. Klein, Sr
to locate a single trailer on his property on Main -Road, Mattituck, N.Y.
be and hereby is granted. for a six (6) month period.

RESOLVED: That the Supervisor be and he hereby 'is authorized to' sign .
a contract or lease with Southold Park Commissioners for lease of Town
owned property at Laughing Waters for recreation `purposes; said lease or
contract to be drawn by Town Attorney Tasker;
