Albertson, at Greenport, New York, on Tuesday, January 9, 1968 with the following present: Supervisc Lester M. Albertson; Councilman - t7arhenL, ne;-z�Justices Clark and .Suter; Town Attorney Tasker; Superintend- ent of Highways Dean and Town Clerk Richmond. Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Justice Suter; RESOLVED: That the next meeting of the Town Board will be held at the office Supervisor Lester M. Albertson, 16 South Street, Greenport, N.Y. on Tuesday, January 23 , 1968, at 3 :00 P.M. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilman Valentine; - Justices Clark and Suter. Moved by Justice Suter; seconded by Councilman Valentine;- RESOLVED: That the reports of the Police and Town Clerk be accepted by the Town Board for,' the month of December 1967 and placed on file. Vote of .Town Board: ' Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilman Valentine; Justices Clark and Suter. Moved by Justice Suter; seconded by Councilman Valentine; RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby is directed to requ -st. he a 175 MVOH street light (tilt) on poles #42, 44 46 and 44A, LILCO, located on Middle Road, Mattituck, near Wolf Pit Lake. Vote of Town' Board: Ayes-SupervisDr Albertson; Councilman Valentine; Justices �Clark- and Suter. ` Moved by Justice -Clark; seconded by Councilman Valentine; RESOLVED: That Wlater Griffin, Jr. be engaged under contract to provide a mail transfer and haulage for the Fishers,. Island Ferry District for a period of one year from Jan. l, 1968 through Dec. 31, 1968 inclusive, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract submitted by the Board of Commissioners of the Fishers Island Ferry District, and be it further ` RESOLVED: That the effective date- of such contract be January 1, 1968 and the amount of compensation for such service shall be $115 .00 per month Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; ouncilman Valentine; Justices Clark and Suter. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Suter; RESOLVED: That the following resolution be approved by the Southold Town Board: THIS AGREEMENT made this 30th day of December, 1967 , between the Fishers Island Ferry District, a district created .under Chapter 699 of the Laws of 1947 , as amended, having its principal place -,of business at Fishers Island, town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, and ALFRED ,S . BICK- NELL, residing at Fishtown Road, Mystic, Connecticut, -WHEREAS, -the parties hereto entered into an' agreement dated the 30th of December, 1964, which agreement provided for the operation of the motor vessel MYSTIC ISLE for a term of five years commencing ,on the 1st day of January, 1965 znd ending on the 31st day of December 1967,and WHEREASS the parties hereto desire to extend the term of said agreement for a term of one month . commencing Jan. 1, 1968 and ending the 31st day of January 1968, NOW, -THEREFORE,,. BE ITAGREED THAT the term of the aforesaid agreement- dated the '3bth day of December 1964 is hereby extended for a term of one month upon the same terms and conditions and that the parties here- to agreed to perform all of the terms and conditions of said agreement according to the terms thereof during said extended term of one month. Perry Edwards, Town Justice, Town of Southold, (Fishers Island) in the amount of $4000. 00 be and the same is hereby approved as to its form, manner of execution and sufficiency of sureties therein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Raymond Dean, Superintendent ' of Highways, be and he hereby is authorized to issue a permit to Nicholas Leonard, said .permit to be drawn by. Marion, N.Y. describe,d, in said petition from "A" ;Residential and Agriculural District to_ "M Multiple Residence Dis,trict,, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED.: That the Town Clerk of the Town of South- old be and he hereby is directed to transmit this - application to the Planning Board in accordance with, Section 901, Subdivision C ,of Article IX of the Building Zone. Telsey by petition verified the .lst day of ,September, 1967, petitioned the Town Board for a .change of zone of certain real property des- cribed in. &aid petition from "A" Residential and Agriculural District to "B Bu`siness . District, and 3 WHEREAS, the said petition was referred to the Planning Board for it' s official recommendation and report, and WHEREAS, the Planning Board has filed it' s - official report with the Town Board, and WHEREAS, the -Town Board, pursuant to due notice thereof -held a 'hearing thereon on the, 29th day of November, 1967 ,- at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the relief demanded in said petition of Benson Telsey be and the same is in all respects DENIED.
