The Southold Town Board met at the office of Supervisor Albert M.
Martocchia at Greenport, N.Y.. on June 12, 1969 with the following. pres-
ent: Supervisor Martocchia; Councilmen Demarest--and Valentine.; Justice.
. Suter; Town Attorney- Tasker; Superintendent of- Highways Dean and Town
Clerk Richmond. Absent: Justices- Clark and) Edwards.
Moved by Councilman Valentine; ,seconded by Justice Suter;
RESOLVED: That the minutes of May 20, 1969 be and they hereby are approved.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Martocchia; Councilmen Demarest and
Valentine; Justice Suter.
Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded- by Justice Suter;
RESOLVED: That the next meeting of the Town Board will be held at the.
office of Supervisor Albert Mar.tocchia, .16 South Street, Greenport, N.Y.
on Tuesday, June 24, 19696 at 3 P.M.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes- upervisor Martocchia; Councilmen Demarest
and Valentine; Justice Suter.
Moved by Justice Suter; seconded by Councilman Valentine;
RESOLVED: That the reports of the Bay Constable and Fishers Island
Ferry District for 'the month of April and; the .Building Inspector,
Supervisor, Police and Town Clerk for the month of May, 1969., be accept-
ed by the Town Board and placed on file.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Martocchia; Councilmen Demarest
and Valentine; Justice Suter.
Moved by Gopac loran Demarest; seconded by Councilman Valentine;
RESOLVED: That Supervisor Martocchia be and he hereby is authorized to
purchase clams to distribute in the bays, ,creeks and' inlets of the Town
of outhold, the sum not to exceed $2000.00.

and Valentine; .Justice Suter.
Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded--by Councilman Demarest;.
WHEREAS, the Fishers Island -Ferry District advertised for bids for Radar
for the. Mystic Isle, and
WHEREAS, the lowest was $5, 532.00,
NOW, THEREFORE;- BE IT RESOLVED: That the Town Board of the Town of
Southold approves the action of the Fishers Island Ferry District in
the purchase of said Radar for the Mystic Isle. -
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Martocchia; Councilmen Demarest
and Valentine; Justice Suter.
Moved by Councilman` Demarest; seconded by' Justice Suter;
RESOLVED: That the Fishers Island Ferry District is hereby authorized
to advertise for bids for one Airport Wind Tee for the Fishers Island-
Airport.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Martocchia; Councilmen Demarest
and Valentine; Justice Suter.
Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded -by Councilman Demarest;
WHEREAS, Southold Legion G.T.G. Post. #803, Southold, N.Y. has applied
to the Town Clerk for a Bingo License, and
WHEREAS, THE Town Board has examined the application .and after investig-
ation duly made findingssand determinations as required bylaw,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Supervisor- be and .he hereby
is authorized &nd directed to execute on behalf of the Town Board the
findings and determinations as required bylaw, and it is further
RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby is directed to issue a
Bingo License to the Southold American Legion G.T.G. P"ost #803, Southold.

WHEREAS, the Southold American �egion Auxiliary G.T.G. Post #803, South-
old., N.Y. applied to the Town Clerk for a Bingo License, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board has examined the application and after investig-
ation duly made findings and determinations as required by law,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Supervisor be 'and he hereby is
authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the Town Board the find-
ings and determinations as required by law, and ' it is further
RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby is directed to issue a
Bingo License to the Southold American Legion Auxiliary G.T.G. Post #$803,
Southold, N.Y.

RESOLVED: That the Superintendent of Highways of the Town of Southold be
authorized to advertise for bids and to purchase from the lowest respon-
sible bidder the following, more or less, as may needed:
1, 000 lin. ft. .of 12 " dia. ga. Galvanized Corrugated Steel Culvert
pipe - 10 ft. lg.
100 pcs. of 12" dia. 16 ga. Connecting Bands
1, 000 lin. ft. of 18" dia, ga. Galvanized Corrugated Steel Culvert
pipe-10 ft. lg.
100 pcs. of 18" dia. 16 ga. Connecting Bands.'

WHEREAS, Captain Kidd Water Co. , Inc. applied to the Town Board for
permissibh" to lay and maintain water pipes on Town property at Captain
Kidd Estates, Mattituck, N.Y. ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Raymond,Dean, Superintendent of
Highways, be and he hereby is authorized to issue a permit to Captain
Kidd Water Co. , Inc. , said permit to be drawn by Attorney Tasker, to
maintain water pipes on Town property. Permit is filed in the Highway
Department.

Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Councilman Demarest;
RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby is directed to request
the Long Island Lighting Company to install one 250 cpoh street light
on NYTCO pole #2, Horton Lane, Southold, and one 175 MVOH street light
on an un-numbered pole, corner of Sunnyside Road and Horton Lane, near
the Railroad crossing, Southold, N.Y.

and Valentine; Justice Suter.
Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Councilman Demarest;
WHEREAS, Oscar Goldin applied to the Town Board for a single trailer
renewal permit dated June, 1969,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of Oscar Goldin
to locate a single trailer on his property, Linnett Street, Greenport,
be and hereby is granted for a period of six months.

and Valentine; Justice Suter.

WHEREAS, John J. Klein has applied to the Town Board for a single trailer
renewal permit dated June, 1969,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of Johnn ,J. Klein to
locate a single trailer on his property, Main Road, Mattituck, N.Y, be
and hereby is granted for a six month period.

WHEREAS,, Roy A. .Schelin has applied to the _Town Board for .a single

NOW, THEREFORE, BE -IT RESOLVED: That the application of Roy A.' Schelin
to locate a single trailer on his property, John' s Road (private road)
E/S Main Road., Mattituck, N.Y, be and hereby is granted for a six
month period.

WHEREAS, Mabel Miles has applied to the Town Board fora single
trailer renewal permit dated June., 1969, .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of Mabel Miles
to locate a single trailer on her property, Private Rd. , Mattituck,
N.Y. be and hereby is granted for a six 'month period.

RESOLVED: That General Bills-in the amount 'of $9, 507. 56; Lighting
District Bills in the amount of $7, 991.17; Fishors . Island Ferry Dis-
trict Bills in the amount of $13 , 734. 17 and Highway Bills in :the
amount of $ be and the same are hereby ordered paid.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Martocchia; Councilmen Demarest
and Valentine; Justice Suter.
Mr. H. R. Pocher, Mattituck, N.Y. appeared before the Town Board re-
questing a traffic lignal light at the intersection of Love Lane
and Main Road, Mattituck, N.Y.
Mr. Waymie appeared before the Board` in relation to Open Housing.
Mr. Martocchia informed him that a study 'is being . made.
