Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Councilman Rich; RESOLVED: That the next meeting of, the Town Board will beheld at-. .the. office of the Supervisor, Albert Martocchia, 16 South Stteet, Greenport,- New York.,. on Tuesday, January 5, 1971, at 3 :00 P.M. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Martocchia; Councilmen Valentine and Rich; Justices Demarest and Suter. Moved by Justice Demarest; seconded by. Councilman Valentine; WHEREAS, a petition, was received from Anna C. Hansen, Mattituck',' N.Y..' requesting a change of zone of certain property at Mill Road, Ma.tttuck', New York, described in said petition from "A" Residential and Agricultural District to "M" Multiple Residence District on Parcel I- and "A"-�Resident- ial and Agricultural District to "B" Business District on- Parcel II, *.. . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk of the Town of Southold be and he hereby ,is directed to transmit this applicatiori-to the Planning Board in accordance with Section 901, Sabdivision;. C-of Art- icle IX of the Building Zone Ordinance of the Town of •Southold. Vote. of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Martocchia; Councilmen-Valentine, and Rich;. ;Justices Demarest and Suter. Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Justice Demarest; WHEREAS, Burton Potter Post #$185 American Legion, Greenport, N.Y, applied to the Town Clerk for a Bingo License, and WHEREAS, the Town Board has examined the application and after investig- ation duly made findings and determinations as required bylaw, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:That the Supervisor be and he hereby is authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the Town Board the-,find- ings and determinations as required by law, and it is further RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby is directed to issue •,a Bingo License to the Burton Potter Post #$185 American Legion Greenport,N.Y. Moved by Justice Suter; seconded by Justice Demarest; WHEREAS, George McCarthy has applied to the Town Board for a single trailer renewal permit dated December 16, 1970, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of George .McCarthy'- to locate a single trailer off Route 25, Laurel,---N.Y: -be and hereby is granted for a six month (6) period. Vote of Town Board: Ayes--.;Supervisor Martocchia;- Councilmen Valentine' ' and Rich; Justices Demarest and Suter. Moved by Justice Demarest; seconded by Justice Suter; RESOLVED: That the Superintendent of Highways of the Town of Sou-thol'd b�e• authorized to advertise for bids for the repairs and parts for the track- assembly on the D-6 Catergpillar Bulldozer. Vote of Town Board: •Ayes- upervisor Martocchia; Councilmen Valentine, - and Rich; Justices Demarest and Suter. Moved by Justice Suter; seconded by Councilman Valentine; RESOLVED: That this Boaed recommend that Robert Bergen, Mattituck, New York, be appointed a member of the Suffolk County Planning Board. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-supervisor Martocchia; Councilmen Valentine and Rich; Justices Demarest and Suter. 355 Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Councilman Rich; RESOLVED: That the following transfer of monies be made: Item i - General Repairs From Contracted Expenses ,to Employees Benefits - $1840. 85 Item IV - Snow Removal & Miscellaneous : Employees Benefits Item IV to other Miscellaneous Item IV - $183. 06 Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Martocchia; Councilmen Valentine and Rich; Justices Demarest and Suter. Moved .by Justice Demarest; seconded by Councilman Valentine; WHEREAS, a petition was received from Gus Schad, 5 Aresta Drive, Dix Hills, Suffolk County, N.Y. described in said petition, from "A" Residential and Agricultural District to "M" Multiple Residence District on Parcel A and from "A" Residential and Agricultural District to "B-2" Pusiness District on Parcel B, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the . Town Clerk, Town of Southold, be and he hemeby is directed to transmit this application to the Planning Board in accordance with Section 901, Subdivision C of Article IX of the Building Zone Ordinance of the Town of Southold. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Martocchia; Councilmen Valentine and Rich; Justices Demarest and Suter. Mr. Edward Latham appeared. before the Town -Bca rd in relation to wetlands and the Master Plan. He explained that according to the plan one third of his farm would be involved and he wished to see the map as soon as it was available. The Town Board assured him that the map would be made available to him. A letter of thankd was received from Greenport School for the detective work done by Sargeant Howard and Detective Sawicki of the Southold Town Police on the incident at the Greenport School. A letter was received from Mrs. Knowles, Peconic, N.Y. stating that she did not like .the design of the proposed Police building. A letter was received from Cutchogue Library thanking the Board for financial aid. Supervisor Martocchia thanked the Board for it ' s cooperation for the past year and wished each one a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Adjournment was at 3 :45 P.M. Albert W.
