The Southold Town Board met- at -.the office of Supervisor Albert, Martocchia,
16 South Street, Greenport, New York, on Tuesday, January 27,, 1970 at -
3 :00 P.M. with thee_following.present: SupervisorMartocchia; Councilmen-
Valentine; and Rich; Justices Suter and Demarest; Town Attorney Tasker;
Supt. of Highways Dean and Town Clerk Albert Richmond.
Moved by -Justice- Suter; seconded by. Councilman Rich;
RESOLVED: That the- minutes of the meeting •of January 13, 1970 be and they
hereby are approved.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Martocchia; Councilmen. Valentine
and Rich; Justices ,Demarest and Suter.

RESOLVED: That the next meeting of the Town Board will be. held.-at the . -

RESOLVED: That •the reports of Justice Suter, Bay Constable Januick-;and
Fishers Island Ferry District for 'the month of December 1969 be accepted
by the Town Board and-placed on file.

WHEREAS, 4Lark, Attorney for Anna C. Hansen', Mattituck, New York,
for a change of zone from "A" Residential and Agricultural District to
"M" Multiple Residence District on Parcel- 1 and from "A" Residential
and Agricultural District to "B" Business District on Parcel 2, 'Mattit-'
uck, New York, has requested a temporary withdrawal for a public hear-
ing ,
ing on said property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the resolution of *January 131 - 1970
, for a public hearing on said property be rescinded.

Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Councilman Rich;
RESOLVED: That Supervsior Martocchia be and he hereby is authorized to
contract to purchase. one Key Punch Machine for tax purposes, the sum not
to exceed $2, 396. 30 on state contract.

Moved by Councilman Valentine; seconded by Councilman Rich;
RESOLVED: That Bond No. 73 S-688 BC, issued by the Aetna Casualty and
Surety- Company in the name of Raymond. Doyen, Commissioner-Treasurereof
Fishers Island Garbage and Refuse District, Fishers Island, New York,
in the amount of $1000.00 be and the same is hereby approved as to its
form, manner of execution and sufficiency of sureties therein.

RESOLVED: That Bond No. 73 5-8818 BC, issued by the Aetna Casualty and
Surety Company in the name of William Januick, Town Constable, Town of
Southold, in the amount of $4000. 00 be and the same is hereby approved
as to its form, manner of execution and sufficency of sureties therein. _

.execution and sufficiency of sureties therein.

RESOLVED: That Supervisor Albert Martocchia be and he hereby is authorized
to contract-with Arcade Department Store, Greenport, New York, for washing
and repairing the blinds in the Town Clerk Building,- the ,sum not to exceed

Albert Zan'owski appeared before the Board requesting information on the
repairs of the Railroad Bridge on 'Bridge Lane, Cutchogue, N.Y. -*The
Supervisor- -informed him that the Town Board was working on i€.
At 3 :00 P.M. in accordance with the notice published according to law,
bids were opened for five (5) new 4-door 'sednas, special' Police cars,
and optional purchase of one (1) unmarked type 4-door sedan for police
duty.Two` bds 'were submitted as follows :
O'Keefe Chevrolet Olds Inc. , Riverhead, L.I.
$4075.84 ;ess trade-'in $1748. 16-=-------------$11,638.40
Garsten Motors, Riverhead, L.I.
$2,678.00 less trade-in $508.00-------------- 10,850.00
All bids were held for study.

The Southold Town Board met at the office of Supervisor Albert Martocchia
on Friday, February 6, 1970 at 3 :00 P.M. with the following present:
Supervisor'-Martocchia; Councilmen Valentine and Rich; Justices Suter and
Demarest; Town Attorney Tasker -"and Town Clerk Rihhmond.

$14, 262.52 -be and the same are hereby ordered paid.
