Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by .Justice Clark; RESOLVED: That the minutes of the Special Meeting of April 14, 1964 be and they hereby are duly approved. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilman Demarest; -. Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Councilman Demarest;. . seconded by Justice Tuthill; RESOLVED: That the regular.. monthly meeting.-of the Town Board will be, held at the office of the Supervisor, Lester M. Albertson, 16 South Street, Greenport, N.Y. on. Tuesday, May 5, 1964 at 3: 00 P.M. Vote- of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilman Demarest Justices Tuthill and .Clark. At 3:00 P.M. in 'accordance with a notice published according to law, bids were to be opened for the concession stand and other facilities. at the Southold Town Beach located on Long Island Sonnd at Arshamamoque in the Town of Southold. No .bids. were received. On motion of Justice Clark, seconded by Justice Tuthill the following resolution was put to vote: RESOLVED: That Albert W. Richmond, Town Clerk, be and he hereby is authorized and directed to readvertise for sealed proposals for .oper- ation of the concession stand and facilities at the Southold Town Beach in Arshamomoque, for a term of five (5) years from the 31st day of May, 1964 under the terms and conditions contained in the pre- pared form of agreement by Attorney Tasker, bids to be opened May 5, 1964 at 3: 00 P.M. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilman Demarest; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Councilman Demarest; RESOLVED: That Supervisor Lester M. Albertson be and he hereby is authorized to purchase six (6) jackets for the Special Constables of the Town of Southold. - Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilman Demarest; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Clark; RESOLVED: That Highway Bill for the first quarter of Social Security in the amount of $495.00 from Highway Item #1 be and hereby is ordered paid. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilman-6.1 Demarest; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Tuthill: RESOLVED: That Highway Bill for the first quarter of Social Security in -the amount of $408.45 from Highway Item #4 be and hreby is ordered paid. Vote of Town Board: Supervisor Albertson; Councilman Demarest; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman Demarest; WHEREAS, a vacancy exists in the office of Town Trustee of the Town of Southold, N.Y. caused by the death of Emmons Dean who was elected to such office in November, 1963, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That pursuant to the authority vested in the Town Board pursuant to the provisions of Section 64 . of the Town Law, that George Simpson be and he hereby is appointed to the office of Town Trustee of the Town of Southold, New York, and .be it further RESOLVED: That this appointment shall take effect April 21, 1964 and that he shall hold office until the -commencement of the calendar year next succeeding the first annual election at which time the vacancy may be filled. Salmon has applied to the Town Board- for a single trailer permit dated April 10, 1964, NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of Millicent R. Salmon to locate a single trailer on her property, Main Rd. , Southold, N.Y. be and the same is hereby denied.. - Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilman Demarest; Justices Tuthill and, Clark. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman Demarest; WHEREAS, Louis A. Dinizio has applied to the Town Board for a single trailer permit dated March 1, 1964, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of Louis A. Dinizio to locate a single trailer on his own property, Brown St. , Greenport, -N:Y. hereby ismgranted for a three (3•) month period Vote of Town Board: Ayes upervisor Albertson; _ Councilman Demarest; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Councilman Demarest; , WHEREAS, Ronald F. Oliver has applied to the Town Board for a single trailer permit dated April l4, 1964, NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of Ronald- F. - Oliver to locate a single trailer on the VanCura property, Arshamom- oque, Greenport, N.Y. be and the same is hereby-denied. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; ouncilman Demarest; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Clark; WHEREAS;" John Wicks has re-applied to the- Town Board for a single trailer permit dated February 12, 1964, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of John Wicks to locate a single trailer on his property on' Long Island Sound be and the same is Ye reby denied. Vote of Town-Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilman Demarest; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Mrs.- Anne'montgomery appeared before the Town Board protesting the Assessor-''s taking of p-ictures and trespassing on her property. - - She requested permission to read the law which gave them the right to to do this, which Attorney Tasker granted.A discussion followed.
