We, the undersigned, members of the Town Board of the Town 'of Southold,
do hereby request the Supervisor to call a Special Meeting . of the Southold
Town Board to be held at the Supervisor's Office, 16 South Street, Green-
port, New 'York, on Friday, April 3, 1964, at 3:00 o'clock P.M.

A Special meeting of the Southold 'Town Board was held at the Supervisor' s
Office, 16 South Street, Greenport, New York, The meeting was called 'to
order by the Supervisor- at 3:00 P.M. with the following present: Supervisor
Albertson; Councilman Demarest'; Justices Tuthill and Clark; Supt. of 'High-
ways Price; Town Clerk Richmond.
Moved by Justice Tuthill.; seconded by Councilman Demarest; .
WHEREAS, the commissioner of the Mattituck Fire District has requested'
that a single pole be placed at the intersection- of Cox Neck-'Road- arid,
Bergen Avenue, Mattituck, N.Y. for the purpose of placing a siren;-
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Supt. of' Highways be authorized
to grant permission for the erection of a pole and siren in accordance-
with such restrictions as he deems necessary.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; councilmen Demarest; Justices
Tuthill and Clark;
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Tuthill;
RESOLVED: That the minutes of the meeting- of. March 24, - 1964, be' and they
hereby are duly approved.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilman Demarest; Just-
ices Tuthill and Clark.
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Tuthill:
RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby is directed to request
the Greenport Lighting Company to install one (1) MV Street Light on the
corner of North Road and Moore' s Lane, Greenport, New York.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilman Demarest;
Justices Tuthill and Clark.
Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Justice' Clark;
RESOLVED: That the Supt. of Highways of the Town of Southold *be 'author-
ized to advertise for bids and to pT chase from the lowest responsible-
bidder,,1, 500 tons, or as much as may be needed thereof, of 3/6 blue stone
for the repairs of the Town Highways, to be delivered when so ordered
by the Supt. of Highways.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest;
Justices Tuthill and Clark.
Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Councilman Demarest;
RESOLVED: That the Supt. of Highways of the Town of Southold be authorized
to advertise for bids and to purchase from the lowest responsible, bidder
the following: One (1) Athey Force Feed Loader (or equal) , one "(1) r1948
Athey Force Feed Loader to be taken-`.in trade as-part payment..:
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor 'Albertson; Councilman Demarest;
Justices Tuthill and Clark.
Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Councilman Demarest;
RESOLVED: That Judith T. Boken, Senior Stenographer to the Board of
Appeals and the Planning Board and Building Inspector be and she is
transferred to the Assessor ' s Office, Town -of Southold, as of Mar .30, 1964.

Justices Tuthill and Clark.
