The Southold Town Board -met at the office of -the Supervisor, Lester
Ni. Albertson, at Greenport, N.Y. ,on Tuesday, December 24, 1961. The
meeting was called to order at 3: 00 P.M. "with the following present:
Supervisor Albertson;' Councilmen .Demarest and Grathwohl; Justices
Tuthill and Clark; Supt. of Highways Price; Town Attorney Tasker and
Town,'--dlerk Richmond.
-Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Tuthill:
RESOLVED: That the minutes, of -December 10, 1963., be and they hereby
are duly approved.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen- Demarest
and -Grathwohl; Justices Tuthill and Clark.
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman Demarest;
RESOLVED: That the Organization -and regular meeting of the Town Board
will be held at the office of the Supervisor, Lester .M. Albertson,
on Tuesday, January 2, 1964, at 3: 00 P.M.

the Long Island Lighting Company to install 31 100CPOH lights at $21.-00

WHEREAS, Woodhollow Properties, Inc. , a, domestic corporation having -
. ,its office and principal place. of business at 3 Glen Lane, Glenwood,
New York, made application dated_ September. B, 1963 to the Town Board
to dedicate certain highways (1).-Plum Island Lane (2) Parkview Lane
(3) Three Waters Lane (4) Sound View Road (5) North, Sea- Drive .(6). Ryder
Landing (7) Ryder Farm Lane, being more fully described in said petit-
ion, -together with-releases executed by the-.ownere -thereof, and
WHEREAS, the Highway Superintendent has inspected said highways and
has advised the Town Board that said proposed highways comply in
all respects to the specifications for the dedication of highways in
the Town of -Southold,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That in accordance with Section 171
of the Highway Law of the State of New York, consent be and the same
is hereby given to the Supt. of Highways to make an order laying out
the aforesaid highways -to consist of land described in said applica-
tion,' and be it further
RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby is authorized and directed
to forthwith cause the dedication and release and deeds to be recorded
in the office of the Clerk of the Country of Suffolk, ew o

WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners- of the Fishers Island Ferry District
adopted .a resolution increasing the salary _of Christian J. Marshall, Re-
lief Purser, from $1.25 per hour to $1.50 per hour, and
WHEREAS, pursuant -to the special act of the Legislature creating said
District, such action of the Toard of Ferry District Commissioners is
subject to the approval of the Town Board of the. Tow•n of Southold, and
WHEREAS, a copy of .said resolution has been submitted to the Board for
the purpose of approving the, action of the Ferry District, Commissioners,
RESOLVED: That the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby; approve,'-
the action of the Board of ..Commissioners of the Fishers Island Ferry
District in increasing the salary of Christian J. .Marshall from, $1.25
to $1.50 per hour.

RESOLVED: .That Marian Griffin: be engaged under contract.,to provide-;a
mail transfer and haulage service for the Fishers Island_ Ferry, -District
fnr a period from Jan. 1, 1964 through Dec. 31, 1964 inclusive in accord-
ance with terms and conditions of the contract submitted by the Board
of Commissioners, -and- be- it further
RESOLVED: That the effective date of such service shall be January 1,,
.1964 and the amount of compensation for such service shall be $115.00
. per month, payable monthly.

bidder the following; 50 tons-.of Calcium '_Chloride delivered in 100 lb.-
paper bags to Peconic, N.Y. by truck. 'Positive date of delivery must be
stated.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Town Board of the Town of Southold
recognizes with deep appreciation. his Services to the- Town of Southold
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this resolution be. placed in..the records
of the Town and a_ copy. be presented to Mr. Grathwohl; ,

The Supt: of Highways, Harold D. Price, in accordance with Section.,284
of the Highway .Law, presented the agreement_.for the expenditures-,of
Hoghway monies made. by and between.'.Harold: D.. Price, Town Supt. .of High-'
wags and the Town Board for .the..year 1.%4.. The Town Board approved this
agreement, subject to the approval of the County, Superintendent .of
Highways.:
