Albertson at Greenport, New York, on, Tuesday, November -12; '1963. The meeting was called to order at 3:00 P.M. with the following present: Supervisor Lester M. Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and.' 'Grathwohl; Justice Clark; Supt. of Highways- Price; Town Attorney• Tasker• and Town Clerk Richmond. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded-by-Councilman Demarest; RESOLVED: That the minutes of October 22, and the Special �Meeting of Nov. 6, 1963, be and they hereby- are.- duly approved. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Grathwohl; Justice Clark. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Counc}lman Grathwohl; RESOLVED: That the regular meeting of the Town Board-`will-be held at the Supervisor' s Office, 16 South 'Street, Greenport, N.Y.- -on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 1963, at 3:00 P.M. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Qupervisor Albertson; Councilmen -D'emarest and Grathwohl; Justice Clark." Moved by Justice Clark; seconded- by Councilman Demarest; RESOLVED: That the report of Howard M. Terry, Building' Inspe-ctor, for the month of October be accepted- by the Town Board and placed on file. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; councilmen Demarest and Grathwohl; Justice Clark. Moved by Councilman D emarest; seconded by Councilman Grathwohl; RESOLVED: That the report of the Southold Town Police for --the .month' ' of October be accept-qd by the Town 'Board and placed on file. RESOLVED: That the report of Supervisor Albertson for the month of October be accepted by the Town Board and placed on file. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded- by-Councilman Demarest; - ,.. . RESOLVED: That the report of Ralph P. Cox, Dog Warden, for the month of February, be accepted by the Town Board and placed on file. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor. Albertson;- Councilmen Demarest and Grathwohl; Justice Clark. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman Grathwohl; WHEREAS, the Commissioners of the Fishers Island Ferry District wish to enter into a bareboat charter• for• use of the M.V. Quonset with the Interstate -Navigation Company .for .a period commencing 'at 7: 00 A.M. on November 11, 1963, and shall end at 7: 00 A.M.on the 14th of Nov. , 1963 at a lump sum payment of '$500;00 to -cover the first two days charter and if the charter shall elect to continue the charter there- after, he shall.-Pay the owner at the Irate.,.;of $200.00 per day for each ' additional day or part thereof, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Southold Town Board approves of the action of the Commissioners of the Fishers Island Ferry District on entering into the contract as above stated with the Interstate Navigation Company. ' Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Grathwohl; Justice Clark. Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Councilman Grathwohl; WHEREAS, 'during .the .present fiscal year,. the Town of Southold has received surplus moneys, being Town moneys received from sources other than loans which are .not otherwise committed or appropriated, to wit, from the following sources: 1962 unexpended balance. RESOLVED: That $8, 000.00 of said surplus moneys be and the same hereby are transferred to the Highway Account entitled SNOW & MISCELLANEOUS accounts and that the amount heretofore appropriated-for such fund or account be and the same hereby is increased by the amount of $8, 000.00. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-supervisor Albertson Councilmen Demarest. and Grathwohl;Justice Clark. Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Justice Clark; WHEREAS, Stanley Sledzieski and Helen Sledzieski his wife, made applic- ation dated October 18, 1963, to the Town Board to dedicate a certain highway .at Mattituck, New York, to be known as RUTH ROAD being more fully described in said petition, to-qether with releases executed. by the owners thereof, and WHEREAS, . the Highway Superintendent has inspected said highway and has advised the 'Town Board that said proposed highway complies in all res- pects to -the specifications for the dedication of highways in the Town of Southold, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:.. That in accordance with Section 171 of the Highway Law of the State of New York,. .consent be and , the same is hereby given to the Superintendent of Highways to make an order laying out the aforesaid Highway to consist of land described in said applic- ation, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby is authorized and direct- .ed to forthwith cause the dedication and release and deeds -to be. record- ed in the office .of. the Clerk of the County of Suffolk, New .York. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Grathwohl; Justice Clark. Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Councilman Grathwohl; RESOLVED: That General Bills in the amount of $13, 988.95; Lighting District Bills in the amount of $3, 018.54 and Fishers Island Ferry District Bills in the amount of $20, 512.79 be and .the same .are hereby ordered paid.
