MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 24, 1963 .
The Southold Town Board met at the office of the Supervisor, Lester M.
Albertson, on Tuesday, September 24, 1963 . The meeting was called to
order at 3: 00 P.M. with the following present: Supervisor Albertson;
Councilmen Demarest and Grathwohl; Justice Tuthill: Supt. of Highways
Price; Town Attorney Tasker and Town Clerk Richmond.
Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Councilman Demarest;
RESOLVED: That the minutes of the meeting of September 10, 1963 be and
they hereby are duly approved.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-pupervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and

RESOLVED: That the regular meeting .of the Town Board will be held at the
office of the Supervisor, Lester M. Albertson, 16 South Street, Greenport,
N.Y, on Tuesday, October 8, 1963, at 3: 00 P.M.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and
Grathwohl; Justice Tuthill.
Moved by Councilman Grathwohl; seconded by Justice Tuthill:
WHEREAS, a petition was received from Russell, Irving and Ellis Billard
requesting a change of zone of certain property in Cutchogue, N.Y. des-
cribed in said petition from "A" Residential and Agricultural District
to "B" Business District,
NOW,, THEREFORE, BE- IT RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk of the Town of
Southold be and he hereby is directed to transmit this application to
the Planning Board in accordance with Section 901, Subdivision C of
Article, IX of the Building Zone Ordinance .of the Town of Southold.

and Grathwohl; Justice Tuthill.

WHEREAS, Sam Brown has applied to the Town Board. for a single trailer
renewal .permit dated Sept. 6, 1963,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of Sam Brown to
locate a single trailer on his property off Middle Road, Cutchoj�_:�.e, N.Y.
be and hereby is .granted for year round occupancy for a period .of one
year.

WHEREAS, Fred Young applied to the Town Board for a single trailer renewal
permit dated September 9, 1963,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED.: That the- application of Fred Young to
locate a single trailer on his property at Arshamomoque,. N.Y. be and hereby
is granted for year round occupancy for a one year period.

WHEREAS, Isadore Krupski has applied to the Town Board for a single trailer
renewal permit. .dated September 7, 1963,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of Isadore Krupski
to locate a single trailer on his property at Peconic, N.Y. be and hereby
is granted for year round occupancy for a one year period. .

WHEREAS, Roy A. Schelin applied to the Town Board for a single trailer
J renewal permit dated September 9, 1963,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of Roy A. Schelin
to locate a single trailer on property of John W. Boutcher be and hereby
is granted for year round occupancy for a period of one year.

WHEREAS, William Amos Kincaid has .applied to the Town Board. for a, single
trailer permit by application dated September 24, 1963,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of William:;Amos
Kincaid to locate a .single trailer on his property on Fleets .Neck Road,
or. Pequash Avenue, Cutchogue, N.Y. be and hereby is DENIED.

WHEREAS, Martin Filla applied to the Town Board for a single trailer
permit dated September 23, 1963,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of .Martin Filla to
locate a single:_-.rtrailer on his property at Oregon Rd., Mattituck, N.Y.
be and hereby is granted for year round occupancy fora one year period.

RESOLVED: That the Superintendent of Highways of the Town of Southold be
authorized to advertise for bids .and to purchase from the lowest. respon-
sible bidder .the following:
700 lin. ft. of 1211 dia. 16 ga. Galvanized Copper steel. Culvert
pipe - 10 ft. long.
- 60 pcs. of 1211 dia. 12 ga. Galvanized Copper Steel Culvert,
. . ,pipe - 10 ft. long.
24 pcs. of 24" dia. .12 ga. Connecting Bands.

Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Justice Tuthill;
WHEREAS, the Auxiliary of Greenport Fire Department of Greenport, N.Y.
applied to the Town Clerk for a Bingo License, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board has examined the .application and- after investig-
ation duly made findings and determinations as required by law,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the Supervisor be and he hereby
is authorized `:and directed to execute on behalf of the Board the find-
ings and determinations required by law, and it is further
RESOLVED: That the .'Town Clerk!. of.-:the Town of Southold be and hereby is
directed to issue a Bingo License to the Auxiliary of Greenpo t Fire
Department.

Grathwohl; Justice Tuthill.
Mr. Clement Booth appeared before the Board requesting more. financeal
aid for the. Southold .Library.
Mr. Trubenbach suggested an alternate road for Southold to .ease traffic
in the village.
The Supervisor informed the Board that the new. Justice Court in the Peonic
School was in operation.
The Supervisor was authorized to order radio unit as per bid by County
of Suffolk.
The Supt. of Highways had no objection to the County laying pipe across
the roads in connection with the dredging at Sterling Basin.
Recess was called at 3:40 P.M.
