Moved by Justice Clark; ,seconded by Councilman Demarest; RESOLVED: That the minutes of May 28 and Special Meeting of June 5, 1963 be and ,they hereby are duly approved. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Tuthill; RESOLVED: That the Town:LClerk of the Town of Southold be and he here- by is directed to request the Long Island Lighting Company to install one (1) MV street light on Pile #1, corner of Indian Neck Lane, . Peconic, N.Y. and seven (7) 100 cp street lights on poles No #, #5, #7, #9-';#12, #14 and #16 on Indian Neck Lane, as per LIL Co. Print No. 625 dated June 3, 1963, all in the Pecordo Light District. Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Justice Clark; WHEREAS, Robert H.- Ohlmann has applied to the Town Board for a single trailer permit dated May 27, 19634 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of Robert H'. Ohlmann to. locate A single trailer on his property, Bay View Road, Southold, N.Y. be and hereby is granted for occupancy for a period of six (6) months. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Grathwohl; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by 'Justice Tuthill; seconded by Councilman Demarest; WHEREAS, William P. Scholl, Jr. has applied to the Town Board for a single trailer permit by application dated May 28, 1963, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the application of William P. Scholl, Jr.' to locate a- single trailer on his property on s/s Center Street, Mattituck, N.Y. be and hereby is denied. Erb has applied to the Town Board for a single trailer permit by application dated May 24, 1963, - NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:- That the application of Rev. Robert M. Erb to locate a single trailer on land of Mr. & Mrs. Frank Davis off Ackerly Pond Lane, Southold, N.Y. for parking only. be -and the same is hereby granted for a one year period. Harry Lister as president of Boatmen' s Harbor, Inc. applied to the Town: Board for financial assistance in dredging the entrance of Wickham"s Creek, a Town -waterway, Cutchogue, N.Y. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Supervisor Lester M. Albertson be and he hereby is authorized to contribute Town Funds in an amount equal to half of the total cost uptto but not to exceed the sum of $475 .00 to- ward the cost of dredging the entrance "of Wickham' s Creek, Cutchogue,NY. Moved byJustice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Clark; RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and he hereby is directed to request. the Long Island Lighting Company to remove one (1) cp street light and replace with one (1) Mercury vapor street light on L.I.L. Pole .#$4 Beckwith Ave'. , Southold, , N.Y. in front of the Grange Hall in the Southold Light District. . Moved by Councilman Grathwohl; seconded by Justice Tuthill: WHEREAS, THE Cutchogue Historical Society, Cutchogue, N.Y. has requested permission to use Cases Lane for recreation and activities on�July 6, 1963, between the hours of 5 P.M. and 12 midnight, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Cases Lane, Cutchogue, N.Y. be closed to public traffic at Route 25 to the-- first- private - driveway from 5 P.M." to 12 midnight. Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Councilman Demarest; WHEREAS, Section 472 of the Labor Law as last amended by Chapter 494 of the Laws of 1963 provides that any Town having a department, board or officer charged with the enforcement of building laws or ordinances may adopt a resolution assuming full responsibility for enforcing the pro- visions of Article 17 of the Labor Law and the rules adopted thereunder prior to July 1, 1963, and WHEREAS, the Town of Southold has a Building Inspector charged with the 2'1 C enforcement of building laws and -ordinances in the Town of Southold, and WHEREAS, the Town Board desires to have- the Building, Inspector of the Town of Southold enforce the provisions of Article 17 of the Labor Law, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Town, of -Southold through .its. Build- ing Inspector does hereby assume. -full responsibility for. enforcing .the - provisions of Article 17 of the Labor Law and the rules adopted. thereunder and that said Building Inspector shallhave all the powers of the Industrial Commissioner in the enforcement of said provisions of- law and rules,.adopted thereunder, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be and hereby -is authorized and directed to file with the Industrial Commissioner of the State of New.
