SPECIAL MEETING OF FEBRUARY 21, 1963.
WAIVER
WE, the undersigned, being members of the Town Board- of the Town of
Southold, Suffolk County, New York, do hereby severally waive notice
of the time, place and purpose of the meeting of the Town Board to be
held at Greenport, in the Town of Southold, New York, on Thursday,
February 21, 1963, and do hereby consent that the same be held on
said date for the transaction of any business which may properly come
before said meeting.

A special meeting of the Southold Town Board was held at the Supervis-
or' s Office, 16 South Street, Greenport, New York, on Thursday, Febru-
ary '21, 1963, the members of the Board having waived notice of the
time, place and purpose of the meeting. The meeting was called to cr der
by the Supervisor, Lester M. Albertson at 9: 00 P.M. with the following
present: Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Grathwohl;
Justices Tuthill and Clark; Town Attorney Tasker and Town Clerk Richmond.
Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Councilman Grathwohl;
WHEREAS, the Town Board has entered into a contract with Papish Esuip-
ment Company, Inc. for the leasing of a tractor to be used at the
Southold Town Dump for a term of three years, and
WHEREAS, the used tractor owned by the Town and located at the town
dump is no longer necessary for the use of the Town and the Town Board
deems it in the best interest of the Town that said tractor be sold,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Supervisor be and hereby is
authorized and directed to advertise for bids for the sale of one used
TD6 International crawler tractor with one cubic yard hydraulic bucket
loader-.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest
and- Grathwohl; Justices Tuthill and Clark.
Moved- by Councilman' Demarest; seconded by Justice Tuthill:
RESOLVED: That Supervisor Lester M. Albertson be anU he hereby is
authorized and directed to advertise for bids for 75, 000 gallons of
Special gasoline for Highway and Police purposes for the period from
April 1., 1963 to March 31, 1964, said bids to be opened at 3: 30 P.M.
on March 26, 1963 at the Supervisor' s Office, 16 South Street, Green-
port, New York. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Council-
men Demarest and Grathwohl; Justices Tuthill and Clark.
Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Clark;
RESOLVED: That Supervisor Lester M- Albertson be and hereby is author-
ized to 'enter into a contract for extending -the present bulkhead at
Gull Pond.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest
and Grathwohl; Justices Tuthill and Clark.
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman Grathwohl;
RESOLVED: That Supervisor Lester M. Albertson be and he hereby is
authorized to advertise for proposals to furnish to the Town of Southold
five (5) aluminum boats for use at the Town Beaches.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest
and Grathwohl; Justices Tuthill and Clark.
