Zoning Update Advisory Committee
Meeting Minutes
(Zoom only)

Attending: Patricia Kirkpatrick, George Kewin, Bruce Nelligan, Erin Argo, Kevin
Stuessi, Alvin Schein, Heather Lanza, Leslie Kanes-Weismann
• Discussed proposed priorities for the zoning update project to present
to Town Board tomorrow 5/5/26.
• Discussed that revising relevant code for community housing is the #1
priority, and that staff will collaborate with ZUAC as they get farther
along with it.
• Concurrently, there are two areas of focus for the committee:
1. Improving the Big House Law - much work has been done on this.
We worked on figuring out next steps and who will do what including
how to hand off the work from Christian to Andrea.
2. Definitions: Heather will coordinate a meeting with this committee
and Town attorneys to strategize how to move forward on the
definitions chapter, if the Town Board makes that a priority.
• Town Board information meeting for the public to be set up on a
Thursday evening in June.
