SPECIAL MEETING
THURSDAY JULY 169 2026
A special meeting of the SOUTHOLD TOWN ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS was held at the
Southold Town Hall Annex, Second Floor Conference Room, 54375 Main Road at Youngs
Avenue, Southold on Thursday, June 18, 2026 commencing at 3:00 P.M.
The public had access to view and listen to the meeting as it was happening via Zoom. However,
this meeting was not a public hearing and no testimony was solicited or received.
Present were:
Leslie Kanes Weisman, Chairperson Kim Fuentes, Board Assistant
Robert Lehnert, Member Elizabeth Sakarellos, Senior Office Assistant
Margaret Steinbugler, Member Donna Westermann, Office Assistant
Patricia Acampora, Member Julie McGivney, Assistant Town Attorney
Nicholas Planamento, Member
3:06 P.M. Chairperson Weisman called the meeting to order.
Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman,Acampora, Lehnert, Planamento and Steinbugler.
This Resolution was duly adopted(5-0).
EXECUTIVE SESSION: 3:06 P.M.
3:06 P.M. -A Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Steinbugler to
enter into Executive Session in order to receive Attorney Advice. Vote of the Board: Ayes:
Members Weisman, Acampora, Lehnert, Planamento and Steinbugler. This Resolution was duly
adopted 5-0 .
4:29 P.M. - Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Lehnert to exit
-'the Executive Session. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman, Acampora, Lehnert,
Planamento and Steinbugler. This Resolution was duly adopted(5-0).

POSSIBLE RESOLUTIONS TO CLOSE/ADJOURN THE FOLLOWING HEARING:
DEBRUIJN,JOHANNES #8130—(Adjourned from July 2,2026) Request for a Variance
from Article III, Section 280-15,Article XXIII, Section 280-124 and the Building Inspector's
January 5,2026 REVISED April 29,2026 Notice of Disapproval based on an application for
a permit to construct an accessory pool house and construct an accessory swimming pool; at:
1) pool house less than the code required minimum front yard setback of 35 feet,2)
swimming pool less than the code required minimum front yard setback of 35 feet,3)
exceeding maximum lot coverage of 20%; located at: 2625 Bay Shore Rd., Greenport,NY.
SCTM No. 1000-7-2-1. RESOLUTION: A motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman,
seconded by Member Steinbugler to CLOSE HEARING AND RESERVE DECISION. Vote of
the Board: Ayes: All. This Resolution was duly adopted(5-0).

Steinbugler. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0).
RESOLUTIONS:
RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by
Member Lehnert to authorize advertising of hearings for the Regular Meeting to be held on
Thursday,August 6, 2026. A Work Session will begin at 9:00 A.M and Public Hearings will
commence at 10:00 A.M. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Member Weisman (Chairperson), Lehnert,
Acampora Planamento and Steinbugler. This Resolution was duly adopted(5-0).
RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by
Member Steinbugler to approve Minutes from the Regular Meeting held July 2, 2026. Vote of the
Board: yes: Member Weisman(Chairperson) Lehnert Acampora Planamento and Steinbugler.
This Resolution was duly adopted(5-0).
There being no other business properly coming before the Board at this time, the Chairperson
declared the meeting adjourned. The meeting was adjourned at 4:47 P.M.
