Responsibilities of the Housing Advisory Commission
1. Work with the town in an advisory capacity to ensure that an efficient, cost
effective and expedient production of affordable housing is created and
maintained.
2. Serve as a liaison for community members within their respective hamlets /
villages regarding affordable housing
3. Identify appropriate sites for the development of affordable housing within
respective hamlets/villages.
4. Approve capital improvement requests from residents living in housing units
5. Make recommendations to the Town Board relating to affordable housing

o East Marion Condo project – Eric
o Southold (Fuerstein) parcel
o Greenport (Pawloski) parcel
o Peconic (Pawloski) parcel
o New Cutchogue proposal (Rona Smith)
• New business
o Housing Forum in 2022?
• Old Business (table to future meeting))
o Housing Plan update (2.5% tax)
o Housing authority update
• Next meeting date (see calendar)
