What are the roles moving
forward?
- Review and make recommendaƟons
to the Town Board regarding
projects that are being awarded
through CHF1 monies (.5% Tax).
- Comment and review on proposed
policies that get funded through the
CHF. (Such as the ADU low interest
loans, First Ɵme home-buyer loan
etc.)
- Make recommendaƟons on updates
to the Community Housing Plan.
- Review and make recommendaƟons
to the Town Board regarding
projects that are being awarded
SHF2 monies ($1million Fund).
- Comment and review on proposed
policies that get funded through the
SHF. (Such as the ADU low interest
loans, First Ɵme home-buyer loan
etc.)
- Make recommendaƟons on updates
to the Community Housing Plan
through representaƟon on the
AHRC3.
- Review and approve any capital
improvements for the SHF.
- Coordinate public outreach events
with CDHD4. (IE. First Ɵme
homebuyer seminars, financial
literacy courses etc.)
How oŌen do they meet? - As needed - As needed
Membership restricƟons?
- No less than 7 but no more than 15
residents of the Town. No member
of the Town Board shall serve on
the advisory board. The board shall
include a representaƟve of: (a) the
construcƟon industry: (b) the real
estate industry: (c) the banking
industry; (d) three representaƟves
of local housing advocacy or human
services organizaƟons: and (e) at
least one resident from a
parƟcipaƟng village.
- This Board will consist of 7 residents
of the Town who shall serve without
compensaƟon.
