BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Communications Committee shall consist of eleven (11) members appointed by the Town Board, each serving a term of one (1)year, as follows: • Town Clerk(to serve as Co-Chair) • Government Liaison(to serve as Co-Chair) • One representative from the Information Technology Department • One representative from the Office of Emergency Management • One representative from Human Services/Senior Services • One representative from the Youth Bureau/Recreation Department • One bilingual (English and Spanish speaking) community member or Town staff member • Two community members with professional experience in communications, social media management, graphic design,public relations, or a related field. • Two Town Board liaisons, one of whom shall represent Fishers Island. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Committee shall meet as necessary to fulfill its responsibilities, shall provide recommendations to the Town Board as appropriate, and with Town Board approval, may coordinate with Town departments to support the implementation of approved communication initiatives.
