The Southold Town Board met at the office of Supervi-sor Henry H.
Tuthill at Greenport, on Tuesday, December 6, 1960. The meeting was
called to order at 7:30 P.M. with, the following present: Supervisor
Tuthill; Councilman Albertson; Justices Tuthill and Clark; Town Attor-
ney Tasker and Town Clerk Richmond.
At 7-:30 P.M. in accordance with the ,notice .published, according to
law, the hearing on the Contract between the Greenport Fire Depart-
ment and the- Town of Southold was opened.
Minutes of this hearing were taken by Mrs. Zipkas.
The meeting wax reconvened at 7•:40 P.M.
Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Councilman Albertson;
WHEREAS, the Police Committee reported that the lowest bid on. the
Police Uniforms was submitted by Calub Smith & Sons,
RESOLVED: That Henry H. Tuthill, Supervisor, be and he hereby is
directed to enter into a contract with Calub Smith & Sons for the
purchase of Police Uniforms in accordance with bids submitted by
the said Calub Smith & Sons.
. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Tuthill; Councilman Albertson;
Justices Tuthill and Clark.
.Moved by Councilman Albertson; seconded by Jus€ice Clark:
RESOLVED: That the report of Ralph P. Cox, Dog Warden, .for the
. month of November be accepted by the Town Board and placed on file.

Justices Tuthill and Clark.

RESOLVED: That the minutes of the meeting of November 10, 1960,
be and' they arse hereby duly approved as read.

RESOLVED: That the minutes of the Special Meeting of November 17,
1960, be and they are hereby duly approved as read.

RESOLVED: That the minutes of the meeting of November 29, 1960, be
and they are hereby. duly approved as read. .

Moved by Councilman Albertson; seconded by Justice Clark:
WHEREAS, a letter was received from the office of the Constable
A. J. Gada, requesting a . 30 mile an hour speed limit on Fishers
Island, -
RESOLVED: That Henry H. Tuthill , Supervisor, contact the State
Traffic Committee to limit speed on Fishers Island to 30 miles an
hour. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Tuthill; Councilman
Albertson; Justices Tuthill and Clark.
