Hello James. I have this open violation at 2730 Grand avenue. The violation states that we do not have the same size EGC on the install as on the plan set. It seems to be in reference to the rooftop solar array EGC, which is#8 AWG as stated on the plan. I also see that my man Sean created a full document explaining all of the components of our UL listed bonding path, attached here. Is this satisfactory to sign off the job? If not, give me a call, I would live to discuss what you need and get this wrapped up. Thank you for your attention in this matter. I know you know Evelyn is on a much deserved vacation. I am hoping you can help me with something, or direct me to the proper person, if it isn't you. We have a customer,Wayne Sailor, located at 2730 Grand Avenue. There were a couple of issues at the final inspection that we had resolved, but this last time the inspector, James, noted that the ground wire #8 on the planset was showing as running from the combiner to the roof, but that it wasn't a #8 wire. Our techs went out to see what this was and to correct it, but we discovered that the#8 wire runs from the combiner back to the interconnection which is noted on the planset, and it's a#10 ground wire that runs from the combiner to the roof-this is what is noted on the planset and is what is installed. The planset is correct as is the install. How do I make sure the plans are reviewed and the inspection ticket update to pass? Any help and guidance you can offer is most appreciated! I am sorry for the trouble and for bothering you if you are not the correct person to speak with, but the homeowner is upset that the plans were misinterpreted and would like to know this issue has been resolved.
