Environmental Consulting on May 6, 2026. While some of the flags could have been placed in a slightly more conservative location following along the vegetation line, it was determined that unless there is an application in close proximity or involving clearing the line is acceptable to move forward with. If the Board of Trustees were looking at a project or tree removal at this location, we would likely take jurisdiction from the top of the small bank that parallels the creek. I am currently preparing a subdivision application for submission to the Southold Town Planning Board. As part of this process, wetlands on the property have been flagged, and I respectfully request that the Trustees conduct an inspection of the site to verify the location of the wetland boundaries. Confirmation of the flagged wetland limits will assist in ensuring that the subdivision application and related plans accurately reflect the environmental constraints of the property.
