Subject: Request for Preliminary On-Site Meeting—Cottage#29, Breezy Shores
Dear Southold Town Trustees,
I am writing to request a preliminary on-site meeting with the Trustees regarding Cottage 929 at
Breezy Shores, which was destroyed by fire over Memorial Day weekend.
The owners intend to rebuild the cottage and would like to discuss any concerns regarding the
existing footprint before moving forward with architectural plans. Our goal is to rebuild in the
same location and to understand whether there are any issues the Trustees believe should be
addressed before we invest significant time and expense in the design process.
We understand Breezy Shores is a unique, grandfathered community, and we appreciate the
opportunity to meet with the Trustees to better understand any environmental, wetlands,
stormwater, sanitary system, or setback considerations that may affect the reconstruction.
If possible, we would appreciate being scheduled for an on-site meeting during the Trustees' July
8 inspection day.
