Beach Masters Report
July 8th 2026
General:
Sticker "sales" picked up once the weather improved, close to last years
numbers around this time.
We had 3 people on for the 4th to accommodate the rush, it worked out
well and kept the line moving.
Fisher issues have been persistent. Overnight fires, litter, crowding the
beach in the morning, etc.
Invasive Mugwort is spreading just East of the parking lot, we should
remove it quickly before it becomes a bigger issue, it is still at a
manageable stage, but it spreads rapidly.
Staffing:
So far so good, 2 staff members had asked for time off in August prior to
the season, and a 3rd just asked for 2 weeks off, we should be able to
cover everything.
We are set for fireworks, which were moved again to the 18th.
No word from NYMIR on sexual harasqwent/workplace violppce trQdning-
