Dear Mr. Oakley:
This letter is a follow up to your email received on June 29, 2026, along with several
photographs. The Board of Trustees reviewed your request to remove a damaged tree
within 100' of the wetlands. The tree was reviewed and seen by Trustee Nick Krupski
on July 1, 2026.
The Board of Trustees determined that the two trees may be removed at this time. No
permit will be required in order to perform this work. The Board of Trustees would like
you to consider replacing this tree with another Oak Tree with a 2"-3" caliper.
Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office.
This is not a determination from any other agency.

Hello
We live at 3310 Little Neck Road and are requesting permission from the Trustees to remove a dying tree.
The harsh winter seems to have badly hurt an oak tree in our yard and we'd like to remove it before its
dead limbs threaten structures on the property. The tree is Located 162 feet from our bulkhead, and 121
feet from the closest water side vegetation (in the adjoining lot.) See the attached photos and map
showing the tree location.
Can we have this tree removed?
