Box 1179 Eric Sep enoski Southold, New York 11971 Liz Gillool y 31 �392 Telephone(6 ) 765-1 Joseph Finara Fax(631) 765-6641 uoulms BOARD OF TOWN TRUSTEES TOWN OF SOUTHOLD June 2, 2026 Jerome & Linda Morrissey 47 Knollwood Road Rockville Centre, NY 11570 RE 1780 GREAT PECONIC BAY BOULEVARD, LAUREL SCTT# 1000-145-4-2.1 Dear Mr. & Mrs. Morrissey: The Board of Town Trustees took the following action during its regular meeting held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 regarding the above matter: WHEREAS, LINDA & JEROME MORRISSEY applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of Chapter 275 of the Southold Town Code, the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated December 22, 2025, and, WHEREAS, the LWRP Coordinator recommended that the proposed application be found Inconsistent with the LWRP, and, WHEREAS the Board of Trustees has furthered Policy 6.3 of the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program to the greatest extent possible through the imposition of the g g p following Best Management Practice requirements: proposed pool pulled back to 60 , from wetland line; and WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on March 18 2026, again April 15, 2026, and again on May 13, 2026, at pp g on p which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and, WHEREAS the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the p Y p remises in question and the surrounding area, and, the Board has considered all the testimony Y and documentation submitted concerning this application, and, 2 WHEREAS, the project complies with the standards set forth in Chapter 275 of the Southold Town Code, WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town, NOW THEREFORE BE IT, RESOLVED, that for the mitigating factors and based upon the Best Management Practice requirement imposed above, the Board of Trustees deems the action to be Consistent with the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program pursuant to Chapter 268--5 of the Southold Town Code, ,and, RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees APPROVE the application of LINDA & JEROME MORRISSEY to remove existing wood deck, masonry patio, wood walkway, and a portion of existing driveway and BBC; install a 2,171 sq.ft. partially raised masonry patio with steps to ground; a 12'x30' in-ground swimming pool; install a 6'x6' drywell, . r r pool equipment area, pool enclosure fencing �.:t gates, and an 8.2�x12.3� storage shed, with the con i lon to screen pool equipment area, move drywell further landward of pool; and as depicted on the site plan prepared by Young &Associates, received on May 21, 2026, and stamped approved on June 3, 2026.
